Todd Howard on crossplay and progress in Fallout 76

So it is smart that Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard was asked about this in a recent interviewAND cross play. And while the potential for PC and console players mixing is out of the query, Howard at the very least seemed more positive about cross-progression.

Since the TV show premiered earlier this month all games have turn into more popular. This also applies to the black sheep in the family. This online-only spin-off is having fun with more players than ever across all platforms. And as 1000’s of latest players enter the post-apocalyptic open-world MMORPG, they’ll expect – like most games in 2024 – that would support crossplay or at the very least cross progression. However, when you’re playing on Xbox, you may’t play with PC or PlayStation players, and all of your progress can also be tied to that platform. And while cross play seems unlikely, Todd Howard seems more open to a future where cross play counts.
