Simon Guobadia attacks Porsha Williams’ family and first husband in fiery post following reports of her recent divorce victory
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams may soon be officially single as her legal battle with ex-husband Simon Guobadia involves an end.
In June, she won a significant victory, granting her “immediate and exclusive right to the use, control and possession” of the Atlanta home they shared during their marriage.
A judge recently ruled in Williams’ favor, allowing her to maneuver closer to finalizing her divorce while keeping the provisions of her prenuptial agreement in place.
A Fulton County, Georgia, court ruled Thursday, September 12, that a prenuptial agreement between Williams, 43, and Guobadia was “empirically fair” after Guobadia, 60, tried to challenge its enforceability. According to to US Weekly.
In the most recent legal twist in the divorce case filed in February 2024, the court granted Williams’ motion to dismiss a subpoena issued by Guobadio’s legal team that sought to acquire a videotaped deposition from the influencer’s employer, True Entertainment, the production company behind Bravo’s “RHOA.”
Adding to Guobadia’s list of setbacks is the undeniable fact that Williams was also awarded attorney fees and court costs, which the African businessman must now cover.
At the guts of the case was Guobadia’s claim that his wife’s decision to return to the fact show was an enormous deal that ought to have stripped her of any prenuptial agreement.
He argued that her return to the highlight by returning to television constituted a breach of their prenuptial agreement and that he should now find the agreement unenforceable as a consequence of alleged misrepresentation.
Guobadia claimed he believed the previous Dish Nation host intended to be a full-time mom. He insisted he entered the wedding with the assumption that Williams would concentrate on family life moderately than the life that helped her achieve 7.7 million followers on Instagram. This could possibly be the rationale she left the show a 12 months before their 2022 wedding.

However, the court found these arguments to be flawed, declaring that Williams was a well known figure in the fact TV world long before her last marriage.
Williams, a key figure on “RHOA” from seasons 5 to 13, has been in the general public eye for years. She was previously married to former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart. She was also engaged to Dennis McKinley, the daddy of her daughter Pilar, who all appeared on the spin-off series “Porsha Family Matters,” in which Simon also starred.
The court even went thus far as to say that Guobadia’s claim of ignorance about Williams’ profession path was “implausible,” and the ruling stated that “the husband nevertheless married his wife with that knowledge,” People reported. reports.
The court also noted that the couple had a meticulously drafted prenuptial agreement ahead of their 2022 wedding. It also noted that the document was negotiated by top lawyers over the course of a 12 months and was drafted specifically to avoid lengthy and costly legal proceedings in the event of a divorce.
Finding that the agreement had been entered into in good faith, the court upheld its validity and prevented Guobadia from attempting to invalidate it.
In its ruling, the court stressed that issues reminiscent of fraud, mistake, misrepresentation and duress were thoroughly discussed in the prenuptial agreement. The judge also criticized Guobadia’s claims, saying any concerns he had must have been addressed in the unique terms of the agreement, but weren’t.
Following this decision, the Atlanta-born player posted a meme on Instagram that simply he stated“If you know you are right and you are at peace with yourself, there is no need to engage in a fight to prove it.”
In the comments, many of her fans congratulated her on her win, but many also said it was his “karma,” including one one who said, “True, P and karma never miss.”
Guobadia in his headline called the positioning a “huge victory” for revealing the most recent information in regards to the divorce proceedings.
“This case is headed to appeals court, and a publication as important as People Magazine is being used to spread lies. Winning is too much. SMDH,” he wrote in a now-deleted post.
After a fan reminded him that Williams is the granddaughter of Hosea Williams, his answer was anything but friendly, a fact captured on The Neighborhood Talk.
“Hosea Williams is doing somersaults in his grave. His legacy is not in the behavior of his granddaughter over the past 12 years. Ask the first husband how he feels,” Simon wrote.
With the prenuptial agreement upheld, Williams is now on target to finish her marriage quickly, with her legal costs fully covered by Guobadia. She did the identical in her first marriage to Stewart, who also received his attorney’s fees. However, she has not received alimony or money from his retirement fund.
