Investigation Discovery’s (ID) upcoming documentary, specializing in the harassment allegations against Chris Brown, looks to do greater than just make clear the singer’s legal woes. The filmmakers strive to “normalize” the survivor’s story.

According to ID president Jason Sarlanis, “Chris Brown: A History of Violence” aims to help other survivors.

“This documentary serves as a cautionary tale for our audience because it illustrates the patterns and cycles of violence that occur among men and women who are perpetrators of domestic violence. “Being able to shed light on this is really valuable for our viewers,” Sarlanis said Hollywood reporter (THR).

As previously reported by theGrio, the documentary, which can premiere on Sunday, October 27 at 9 p.m. as part of ID’s third annual “No Excuses for Abuse” campaign, will chronicle Brown’s rise in the music industry as a teenage R&B star to his current public position and can continued allegations of abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault.

Brown’s troubles in the highlight began after a February 2009 incident that left his then-girlfriend Rihanna in hospital with injuries.

“When we look specifically at the story of Chris Brown and Rihanna and the tragic events that took place in 2009, we see that events like this are happening in households across the country, and their names are much less recognizable, which allows us to tell these stories in a bigger stage,” says Sarlanis about the documentary produced by Ample Entertainment. “It may not be the same example in homes across the country, but abusers use the same tactics, so recognizing these tactics, regardless of their use, is critical to empowering our viewers.”

Featured Stories

In the 15 years since his altercation with Rihanna – after which pleading guilty to one count of assault – Brown has continued to rack up nothing but disturbing allegations and allegations.

The documentary, which seeks to explore how someone manages to succeed in a high-profile profession despite repeated alleged incidents of abuse, may even introduce new accuser Jane Doe. Jane Doe accused Brown of sexual assault aboard Diddy’s yacht in December 2020. Asked to respond to these and other claims, Brown’s lawyers told ID producers that the allegations made on the show were “malicious and false.”

But producers told THR they hope to show how many victims cope with complex feelings – including the feeling that the abuse was in some way their fault.

“Our Jane Doe story perfectly reflects the fact that nearly half of all harassment cases in this country go unreported. And I believe that her story, unfortunately, will resonate with too many of her viewers,” Sarlanis said, adding: “We need to normalize how we survive. Every fourth woman experiences this. This number is staggering, and the shame of being a survivor will perpetuate the same cycles that allow the one in four number to continue. Ultimately, our goal must be to lower this rate.”

Fresh off the premiere of “Chris Brown: A History of Violence,” “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin will moderate a discussion on intimate partner violence for viewers.

A couple of weeks after the world learned of his death, a family dispute broke out between the children of beloved “Good Times” actor John Amos.

Many people wondered why The Roots actor’s death wasn’t made public since he died in August at the age of 84. Now Shannon Amos, the daughter of the Emmy-nominated star, has once more made serious allegations against her brother, Kelly Christopher “KC” Amos, accusing him of “foul play” and demanding a police investigation. KC is listed as the one that informed the county of his father’s death.

In 2023, Shannon implied that her brother was committing elder abuse and later had him arrested for threatening her with gun photos after KC was removed under a medical power of attorney.

Now the 58-year-old claims that her brother manipulated her father’s will no less than five times in an try and deprive her of her inheritance interview from RadarOnline.

Shannon also alleges that KC emptied the elder Amos’s bank accounts and quickly cremated his body to hide evidence of the alleged abuse.

“I need an investigation. “The hardest thing is that my father was cremated immediately – and that was strategic,” she said he said to the socket.

Amos died on August 21 in California and his body was cremated nine days later.

Shannon states: “I was contacted by a concerned doctor in Los Angeles to report a serious case of neglect—including a case where my father’s body filled with fluid and his foot developed an infection that remained unclean and untreated until the wound began to infest with worms.” .

Amos’ daughter has consistently said that her dad, who reportedly died of congestive heart failure at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, was “isolated” from the family by KC in the years leading as much as his death. She insists that her father “died alone” and that her brother didn’t notify the family of his deteriorating health.

She also accused KC and Amos’ alleged publicist, Belinda Foster, of moving the artist from state to state to avoid contact with police. Social media users often praised Amo’s son for sharing videos of the father-son duo vacationing in Jamaica, Las Vegas and other places.

Shannon and a number of other members of the family don’t imagine Foster was his real publicist and plenty of people were hurt after they learned of Amos’ death 45 days after his death.

The situation is further complicated by the undeniable fact that no autopsy was performed.

When is the Jasmine brand sent it was posted on social media, their supporters shared their thoughts, and plenty of sided with Shannon.

“I believe her!! They should investigate, not delay, continue to push for answers,” one person wrote.

Several said, “The fact that everyone found out about it 2 months later is suspicious,” while one other wrote, “5 times is crazy,” referring to what number of times John’s will was allegedly changed.

Many sent their thoughts to Amos, saying, “Oh please don’t drag our favorite TV dad into any bullshit…t!! May he rest in peace!!!”

Someone else said, “This son has been acting strangely for years and has become distant from everyone because of it.”

“Impeach everyone involved!” one person stated bluntly. “YES. WE ALL KNOW SOMETHING DARK HAS BEEN HAPPENING… FOR YEARS,” one other added.

There was even a hashtag: #ISTandWithShannon. He believes Foster can also be the woman who “pretended to be his daughter” in the hospital on the night of his death.

Shannon also believes that the decision to cremate her father immediately was a deliberate move intended to stop an investigation into potential elder abuse and financial exploitation. She also noticed that her brother was combating drug addiction and mental problems.

“We are concerned that he was likely cremated to avoid a potential investigation into the conditions in his final days,” Shannon said. “We suspect that these actions may have been taken to amend potential wills and obtain life insurance or other benefits.”

It got here after an almost decade-long custody dispute over John Amos when the “West Wing” actor suffered a stroke in 2016 and was subsequently diagnosed with dementia.

On June 7, 2023, Shannon launched a GoFundMe campaign claiming that her father was in a really difficult situation after being admitted to an intensive care unit in Memphis, Tennessee after being hospitalized a month earlier.

However, Amos, still conscious, vehemently denied the allegations at the time and accused his daughter of elder abuse.

Every week later, John Amos appeared in an Instagram video posted to his personal profile, sitting in a hospital bed with his son KC by his side.

The video shows Amos talking to someone on the phone about his daughter. He says he is worried.

When asked to clarify his legal situation, Amos said: “OK, I’m 83 and I even have two children. My son is with me in the hospital in Memphis. He’s by my bed.

Amos continued, “I’m not in the hospital because of anything that happened recently, other than I was hospitalized about a month ago for water retention and a few other issues. All of them have been corrected or at least addressed.”

Just just a few days later, on Father’s Day, Shannon deactivated GoFundMe and appeared to have calmed down from a few of her public accusations.

However, now that the will is allegedly in dispute, tensions have resurfaced and it appears all gloves are off. He claims KC did the same to their mother, John’s ex-wife, Noel “Noni” Mickelson. In an interview with The Daily Mail, she alleged that she had an announcement signed by KC during which he admits that he “consciously manipulated my father.”

As Shannon seeks legal motion and answers, the situation stays tense, exposing the rift that has torn the Amos family apart whilst they mourn the death of their patriarch.

An increasing variety of celebrities are speaking out about their political affiliations, with stars reminiscent of Taylor Swift, Eminem and Beyoncé supporting Vice President Kamala Harris. Meanwhile, others strongly support former President Donald Trump, including actor Mel Gibson, a known supporter of Trump’s policies.

During a meeting with a TMZ reporter at LAX on October 24, Gibson was there he asked by a reporter he was supporting within the upcoming election. His answer wasn’t much of a surprise.

“I don’t think it will be a surprise to anyone I vote for,” he said.

Pressed by a reporter who guessed it was Trump, Gibson confirmed: “I think that’s a pretty good guess.”

The exchange took a sharp turn when a reporter asked what Trump’s second term would appear like. Gibson took the chance to criticize Kamala Harris, saying, “I do know what it will be like if we let her in… and it would not be good. Pathetic track record… No policy. And he has the IQ of a fence post.

It’s no surprise that the comment sparked outrage on social media.

Rhetorically one user he asked“Donald’s is taller????” while one other he joked“If that is the case, then Trump has an IQ as high as the ground where a fence post hits.”

Another person slammed him, tweeting: “Oh bro full of racism,” while one other added: “Racists stick together…”

For those defending Harris’ academic and political profession, one user highlighted her qualifications: “Lawyer, prosecutor and senator.”

Harris’ education ranges from Vanier College in Montreal to Howard University, where she majored in political science and economics, becoming a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.

She then previously studied on the University of California, Hastings College of the Law facial The first female district attorney in San Francisco and later the primary African American and South Asian woman to function California’s attorney general.

After being elected to each positions, she was elected as a U.S. Senator and in 2021 became the forty ninth Vice President of the United States.

The “Braveheart” actor candidate didn’t hold any political office before entering politics, but he was a real estate developer, a failed university founder and a reality TV star.

Gibson’s history of controversial remarks, including anti-Semitic and racist outbursts, has left many individuals questioning his motivations.

While arrested for drunk driving in 2006, he went on a vicious anti-Semitic tirade wherein he stated: “Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.” According to to ABC News.

Then, in 2010, he launched a tirade against his former partner Oksana Grigorieva, including sexist and racist insults, which further fueled the criticism.

“If you get raped by a pack of niggas, it’s your fault,” Gibson reportedly told Grigorieva, who, according to RadarOnline, allegedly recorded him saying it as their relationship was falling apart.

In addition to making anti-Semitic and racist remarks, he also made quite a few chauvinistic remarks about women and their place on the earth, reinforcing his belief that the overqualified Harris shouldn’t hold the best office within the land.

After being arrested for drunk driving in 2006, Mel Gibson allegedly made a vulgar remark to a sergeant: “What are you looking at, sugar?” Although the comment never appeared within the arrest report, Gibson later denied making it during a 2009 appearance on “The Jimmy Kimmel Show.”

Gibson’s views on gender caused further controversy. In a 1995 interview with Playboy, he expressed opposition to women serving as priests, stating: “Men and ladies are only different. They are usually not equal.”

Still, he said: “I have great respect for women. I love them. The women in my family are at the center of things.”

However, Gibson’s respect didn’t seem to extend to the skilled community. He allegedly called his estranged business partner “ct.”

He also made his disdain for feminists clear, saying, “Feminists don’t like me and I don’t like them.” He added: “I do not understand their viewpoint. “I don’t know why feminists are attacking me so much, but it’s their problem, not mine.”

Many see Gibson’s political opinions as an extension of his deep-seated biases, and his continued connection to Trump’s base raises questions on how far his support will reach.

The query stays whether other stars will follow Gibson’s path of vilification, or whether they’ll rise above it and go with “joy,” because the Harris-Walz ticket suggests.

Los Angeles Lakers player LeBron James and his 20-year-old son Bronny James have officially began working together on the basketball court. They could also go to the courtroom.

On October 22, LeBron and Bronny made history by becoming the primary father-son duo to play together within the NBA. The 39-year-old basketball legend spent about two and a half minutes of motion with the rookie.

“Walking up to the scoring table with my dad and checking in for the first time was a crazy moment that I will never forget,” Bronny said in her post-match interview.

His dad added, “To be able to experience this moment where I’m still working and able to work alongside my son is one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received from a man upstairs.”

While LeBron celebrated Bronny’s debut with the Los Angeles Lakers, April Almanza Lopez and Kiara Rae McGillen took legal motion against the James family.

According to TMZeach women are suing LeBron and his son for unspecified damages in reference to a automotive accident that occurred on November 13, 2022. Lopez and McGillen claim they were injured within the alleged accident, which occurred in Littlerock, California.

The plaintiffs also argued that the worth of their vehicle was reduced as a consequence of the damage attributable to the wreck. According to reports, the lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County just hours before Bronny checked in for the Lakers game on the Crypto.com Arena.

As of press time, neither father-son duo has publicly commented on the continuing lawsuit.

A 3rd person commented: “Man, even if Bron or Bronny has rear-ended someone, they’re doing it on a larger scale, trying to maximize their payout on top of their insurance payout, wtf.”

Someone else responded by throwing shade at Los Angeles’ 2024 second-round draft pick, posting: “Such bad news after Bronny’s big night with zero points.”

Many people still query why the two women waited until Tuesday to file their lawsuits. One person said, “But 2 years later?” while one other added: “Where the hell is the dash cam and why has this only been reported now? Something doesn’t sound correct.”

Coming to their defense, the loyal supporter added: “Watch them start lying! Leave the James family alone.”

The Los Angeles Lakers won the primary game of the 2024-2025 season 110-103 against All-Star scorer Anthony “Ant-Man” Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

LeBron finished the sport with 16 points, five rebounds and 4 assists in 34 minutes of play. Bronny played for two:41 and went 0-for-2 on field goal attempts.

Edwards had 27 points, six rebounds and three assists in his team’s loss. Like LeBron and Bronny, the primary overall pick within the 2020 NBA draft is facing an out-of-court legal battle.

Edwards has asked a Georgia court to find out paternity rights for the child born to social media influencer Ayesha “Little Ms. Golden” Howard. A paternity status conference is scheduled for November 13.

In 2024, Bronny James also made headlines for his dating life. The former University of Southern California Trojan is alleged to be in a relationship with Parker Whitfield.

The Spelman College sophomore is the daughter of actress Salla Richardson-Whitfield and actor Dondré T. Whitfield. Bronny and Parker reportedly met while attending Sierra Canyon High School in California.

Salli Richardson-Whitfield is connected to the legacy of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Chicago native directed episodes of the tv series “Victory Time: Rise of a Lakers Dynasty” on HBO.

In the following NBA game, LeBron James, Bronny James and the Lakers will face the Phoenix Suns on October 25 on the Crypto.com Arena. On October 23, the Suns will defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 116-113 in additional time.
