Lauryn Hill and the Fugees Announce Fall 2024 ‘Miseducation’ Tour Dates
Lauryn Hill and the Fugees are back on tour.
The group is reportedly extending its tour to have a good time the twenty fifth anniversary of Hill’s 1998 album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” and the Fugees’ hit album “The Score.” Diversity.
Hill’s son, YG Marley, will join the group and co-headline all shows. Marley previously joined the Fugees during their April performance at Coachella. The 21-date tour will kick off in Florida on August 9, with additional shows scheduled in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and other US cities.
The European leg of the tour will start on October 12, with stops planned in London, Manchester, Paris and Amsterdam. “Tickets will be available from Citi pre-sale starting on Tuesday, June 25. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of general sales beginning on Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. local time,” Variety reports.
Hill was forced to cancel the original November 2023 tour dates after he struggled with “vocal strain” and was prescribed steroids to treat the condition.
“I survived every show while taking prescribed prednisone, but taking large amounts of it for a long time can be harmful to the body,” Hill said in an Instagram post. Diversity. “In order to prevent long-term negative effects (sic) on my voice and body, I need to take time off to allow my voice to truly recover and be able to come off the medication completely.”
