The series again imagines a groundbreaking story through the lens of black teenagers Keish and Justin, whose young love blooms in Los Angeles around 2018.
Known for creating beloved programs, similar to Brock Akil brings its characteristic depth and emotional honesty to this recent drama about maturing-her first series from Netflix. In his heart there may be a story about the old flame, identity and often awkward, joyful journey of discovering each.
The trailer teases with an epic teenage affair against the actual complexity of the black adolescence, and novices Simone and Cooper Jr. They bring tangible chemistry to the roles of Keisha and Justin. The talented team are Karen Pittman, Wood Harris, Xosha Roquemore and Barry Shabaka Henley, and Regina King also serves as a executive producer.
The original was once a literary rapid rod on account of the sincere presentation of teenagers’ sexuality.
