Nas releases ‘Illmatic’ football jersey
To have fun the thirtieth anniversary of Nas’ iconic debut album, the hip-hop legend has teamed up with London menswear designer Umbro and Nicholas Daley to create a limited-edition football shirt.
The t-shirt design was created to reflect Nas’ New York roots and the worldwide impact he has had on music, as quoted By . Aesthetically, the tee incorporates a relaxed fit that mixes sports, music and fashion elements while celebrating Nas’ iconography through his logo, signature font and number 94, paying homage to the 12 months the album was released.
The limited edition goals to focus on Umbro and Daley’s style and aesthetic and their approach to fashion inspired by cultural heritage.
“Creating Nas’ 30th Anniversary exclusive Illmatic look in collaboration with Umbro was a true honor for one of hip-hop’s legendary icons. “Illmatic is one of my favorite albums of all time, and the impact it had, both musically and culturally, is so evident today,” Daley said.
“The collaboration is a celebration of hip-hop and the legacy that comes with incorporating the Umbro legacy into a collection that I wanted to feel both classic and forward-thinking.”
Columbia Records released Illmatic on April 19, 1994. It was recorded between 1992 and 1993 in several studios throughout New York. The album was produced by DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, LES and Nas himself. A cornerstone of hardcore hip-hop, Illmatic is revered for Nas’ complex, unparalleled lyricism and vivid inner-city narratives drawn from the rapper’s experiences growing up within the Queensbridge Houses in Queens, New York.
“It’s only nine songs. I think it’s an excellent album” – Nas he said in 2012. “I couldn’t say it before, but there are so many different dynamics involved. The album cover started the whole thing and since then loads of artists have posted photos of their kids, close-ups of their photos from here.”
“There are only nine songs on it and we get straight to the purpose, the music on it. I would not change anything,” he said.
In 2015, Billboard magazine named Illmatic “the best hip-hop album of all time”. In 2020, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it forty fourth on its list of the five hundred best albums of all time. The following 12 months, the Library of Congress chosen it for inclusion within the National Recording Registry due to its “cultural, historical, or aesthetic significance”.

In the promotional clips, she spoke candidly in regards to the challenges she has faced since her high-profile split from Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, who is currently dating music icon Taylor Swift, as she described the tip of their five-year relationship.
“It was overwhelming to go through a public breakup,” she said, likely referring to the a whole bunch of headlines about why they broke up.
In one clip, Kayla whispers to a different contestant the identity of her famous ex, which inspires lots of them social media mock her pain and suggest she’s milking a broken relationship for 15 more minutes of fame.
“Kayla is a huge influencer. Her 15 minutes of fame are long gone. He has no talent and all he can do is talk about his ex. She brings NOTHING to the table and that’s what will forever be remembered as her ex-partner who refused to leave. This is her ONLY claim to fame,” one person wrote on YouTube, adding: “She must be ashamed of herself… 5/2022 is after they broke up ff. It will probably be almost 3 YEARS when this airs!! She was the just one who decided to interrupt up publicly, always mentioning it due to his now much MORE famous girlfriend. Because her ex didn’t mention her. This is such a narcissistic move.
Another person commented: “True grief from Kayla Nicole. I’m still crying about my ex from 3 years ago.
A 3rd comment provided context as to why she may need been shedding tears, writing: “Less about the ex and more about the overwhelming hate that was thrown at her for simply existing. But two years later, Taylor Swift was also crying over her exes, soooo much.”
An example of the sort of hate may be seen on the X platform, where one user with the nickname @FakeKaylaNicole wrote: “lol, she should have said that Taylor Swift’s boyfriend (laughter emoji) The girl is unconscious!” when the trailer was released.

Kayla and Travis dated on and off for five years, starting in 2017. The pair were known for his or her public appearances at games, on red carpets and in social media posts that always highlighted their playful dynamic. However, their relationship took a turn and at last ended in 2022.
Rumors suggested that they broke up because Travis was extremely low cost and made her pay half of every part. Travis denied being stingy.
“Do I look like I went 50/50 on bills?” she said on Angel Reese’s “Unapologetically Angel.” podcast. “It was never an issue in our relationship, but it was definitely a rumor on the Internet.”

The fitness specialist has emphasized personal growth and self-discovery since her breakup, besides, fans are urging her to easily stop talking in regards to the relationship.
She recently told how she lost a few of her friendships with football players’ wives and girlfriends (WAGs) because she was not in the highest flight.

Kayla then opened up about why people dislike her a lot, stating that it’s in regards to the pop star and athlete relationship although it has “nothing to do with her.”
She theorized: “I feel there’s something about this level of fame that pulls crazy people. And that is unlucky because I’ve never done anything to warrant that type of response.
Time will tell if the fact show will probably be therapeutic for her, help her end her relationship and satisfy fans’ desire for her to stop talking about Travis.

Founder Mielle claims influencers were paid to lie about products

The company’s founder and CEO, Monique Rodriguez, explained the “very important message” on Instagram Live. She detailed how a competing brand pays an influencer to promote its products. During the collaboration, the creator gained enormous popularity after she released allegedly false claims about Mielle’s popular rosemary and mint hair oil in September. TheShadeRoom republished footage of Rodriguez’s sabotage claims.
“As a lot of you have got seen, Mielle has been within the news recently… but here’s the thing: We recently discovered that the unique creator of the TikToker who sparked all of the rumors about Mielle products causing hair loss and falsely claiming the mint rosemary oil formula modified, the creator was paid by one in all our competitors,” Rodriguez explained.
According to Rodriguez, her team discovered that influencer Danesha Mo’nek was receiving a kickback. The CEO asserted that Mo’nek caused the controversy to increase sales to competitors and make more cash herself.
“The creator earned commissions for promoting competitor products while spreading misinformation about our products for his own benefit. Unfortunately, some who joined these conversations apparently also had ulterior motives,” Rodriguez revealed.
Rodriguez first addressed the scandal the identical month that Mo’nek claimed hair oil caused hair loss. Other TikTokers also shared similar stories of injury. Following the backlash, Rodriguez assured customers that the standard of his products had never diminished.

“It’s come to a point where I feel it’s important to be transparent with all of you,” the entrepreneur explained.
“Therefore, I would like to inform you that the creator of these fake videos has already been removed.”

Bankruptcy, scandal and a bitter divorce at the helm
The popular Turkey Leg Hut has closed its doors because it continues to settle business debts. A Houston restaurant co-founded by estranged couple Nakia Holmes and Lyndell Price was flooded legal drama since the business partners split last 12 months.
The restaurant known for its stuffed turkey legs and ropes lining the 4800 block of The Third Ward at Almeda Road has been closed to customers since late September. After a food inspector reported 35 violations against the plant, supporters were told “exciting renovations.”
However, its closure has since been disclosed as a part of a bankruptcy filing.
The judge signed an order allowing CNPH Properties, LLC to terminate the business’s lease on November 22. Court records show an amount of $100,000 remained unpaid.
In March, Holmes filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy following reports of a lack of worker wages and a failure to settle a $1.2 million outstanding balance owed to US Foods for grocery items.
In fact debt is $4.7 million, which incorporates $2 million in unpaid state taxes. The recent ruling, nevertheless, converted the filing to Chapter 7, which can allow for the seizure of all company assets to repay the landlord and creditors.

The reason for the fire has not yet been published. As it stands, Holmes remains to be waiting on a 2018 civil lawsuit alleging she didn’t pay rent for the now-closed business, and the former couple’s divorce remains to be not finalized.
