It looks like Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and Sharelle Rosado won’t be making it down the aisle, because the “Selling Tampa” star recently announced that they’ve officially ended their engagement.

On October 24, Rosado announced their split in a heartfelt post on X through which she wrote, “Chad and I aren’t any longer together, please stop tagging us. He’s a free man, ladies.”

Her statement made it clear that she was not only over the relationship, but additionally wanted to move on, and social media happily took the chance to air her theories and opinions behind the sudden breakup.

Several said Johnson “buried” reality television star or questioned“How did he screw it up?”

One follower responded to the breakup news by saying, “I can’t blame” the previous Cincinnati Bengal, sharing a photograph of Johnson with sportswriter Taylor Rooks, alluding to something going on between them.

As expected, several comments alerted Rosado, 33, to the DM flood she soon experienced upon her return to the market. While she apparently didn’t accept either man’s offers, she did take the time to warn one follower, who thanked Rosado for letting her know her ex was up for grabs.

“Thanks, sister! I will kindly point out his DM,” they wrote.

Rosado replied to an overzealous fan, “lol hope you don’t catch anything sis,” leading fans to think the breakup was due to Johnson’s infidelity.

The former NFL star remained silent concerning the split until a couple of hours later, when he responded to Rosado’s tweet with a funny gif of a success program “Arrested Development” showing George Michael walking together with his head down.

“Damn,” Johnson he stated on last weekend’s episode of “Nightcap” after news of the breakup went viral. Shannon Sharpe advised her friend and co-host to clear it up with Rosado.

“I can’t. I’m just saying I’m blocked,” Johnson explained. “I don’t know what to do.”

Sharpe then praised him for being a “smart man,” adding that if Rosado never said “Don’t call me again,” he would still have a likelihood to make things right with her.

“Why don’t you do me a favor? Why don’t you become a moderator?” Johnson asked, causing Sharpe to laugh.

“Give her a day or two to calm down. This is fresh, this is really fresh. But you both need to stay offline,” Sharpe continued. “Next time you need to fix something, turn off your internet connection.”

Johnson confessed: “It wasn’t me. Yes, you didn’t have to be so public and you could have watched,” he continued to the camera, addressing Rosado directly.

At one point, even a frustrated Johnson he said Sharpe: “No more comments about relationships. Not now… I’m in disgrace now.

“You didn’t have to take the hand of God to come down here and fix it,” he added.

Fans of the couple expressed shock at their split and urged them to reconcile with one another.

“A dog home means she’s not completely gone yet. I hope they can handle it,” one person said, while one other wrote: “What are you doing Chad?”

Several identified that Johnson wore large sunglasses throughout the episode to hide the incontrovertible fact that he was close to tears, including one who he said“Sometimes you will have to smile since it hurts. The boy has probably not eaten since then.

Assuming that infidelity played a job in ending their engagement, one person added, “God’s hand to fix it, oh he cheated, he cheated.”

Another said: “You better do like Judge Mathis and get your woman back.” Fans are surprised mainly by the breakup stemming from their recent social media activity, which doesn’t prove that Johnson and Rosado were at odds with one another.

In September, the actual estate agent shared several photos of what appeared to be a joyful couple.

While some fans hope this subtle announcement is a publicity stunt to attract more listeners to their podcast, several telling events led to the split.

During the June 3 episode of “Nightcap” podcast, Johnson was visibly annoyed together with his fiancé and co-host Sharpe after Rasado announced he was accompanying them each on an overseas tour.

After Sharpe asked Johnson to take a photograph of Rasado for a flyer, Johnson couldn’t hide his problems with pushing his limits.

“No, no, seriously, we are creating a monster,” he told Uncle. He still complained, “She doesn’t need features because it takes away my shine.”
