Celebrity chef Ina Garten discovered that Oprah has hands.

Garten, known for her greater than 20-year run on The Food Network with her show “The Barefoot Contessa,” recently revealed how Oprah Winfrey “slammed” her twice for not giving herself credit where it was due.

Promoting her latest memoir, “Be Ready When Good Luck Happens,” Garten sat down with Radio Cherry Bomb host Kerry Diamond to discuss a “shocking” moment that she admitted she still carries with her.

At the 2010 Matrix Awards, Garten was honored alongside famous women similar to Sheryl Crow and Tina Fey. Winfrey was in attendance to introduce her friend Gayle King, who was also honored.

Garten recalls the moment she received the New York Women in Communications Matrix Award and gave a 90-second speech introducing her profession.

During the transient but emotional dialogue, Diamond said, she told the audience, “I’ve been really lucky in my life.”

When she returned to her seat, the media mogul quickly corrected her. “And (Winfrey) tapped me on the shoulder in front of about 2,000 people and said, ‘You make your own fate.'”

The 76-year-old continued by telling the host that after she presented her “incredibly lucky” argument to Winfrey, Winfrey “hit” her again.

Winfrey laughed when she was chastised for attempting to get Garten to take credit for her success. “And I said, ‘OK,'” she added. “Years later, after I was writing this memoir, I assumed, ‘She was kind of right.’ I did the job.

Gartner then revealed that the moment she shared with Winfrey was the inspiration for the title of her latest book. “I even have to confess she’s right. She was right.

People shared the interview as a follow-up to the interview September cover story with the chef and a few observers reacting strongly to the story in regards to the bad interaction between Garten and Oprah.

“No, OPRAH WINFREY is attacking someone,” said a shocked fan. Another suddenly commented: “I used to love Oprah. Now it’s like, “Fuck off.”

A 3rd said: “Oprah is a fake.”

Seemingly defending Oprah, one of the people said: “What is Ina drinking… it was probably – okay, a gesture… like ‘calm down, touch it.’

Subsequent comments attacked the billionaire media tycoon, claiming that she “screwed it up and is falling.” Some said they were “tired” of hearing about Oprah and posts turning political within the wake of the upcoming election, and a few shouted out that they didn’t take the time to read your complete article.

Garten’s story about Winfrey is only one of many untold stories the chef uncovers within the book. She opens up about her 30-plus-year relationship with her husband, Jeffery, and her time working within the White House, where she wrote policy on the 1974–1978 nuclear energy budget.

She also struck up her previous friendship with lifestyle guru Martha Stewart. Stewart passively addressed her former friendship on the October 20 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”

After host Andy Cohen asked Stewart, 83, if she had read Garten bookSnoop Dogg’s best friend replied, “I read parts of it,” later adding, “She can write whatever she wants.”

Garten claimed that the friendship between her and Stewart began to deteriorate after her imprisonment for insider trading, but Stewart claims, “That’s not true.”

Comedian Tony Rock made a surprising admission during a recent interview about his brother, Chris Rock, offering him a job in one among his movies after which scaring him.

Best known for taking part in Dirk Black on the Will Smith-created series “All of Us” and later as Uncle Ryan on his brother’s show “Everybody Hates Chris,” the 50-year-old entertainer has had a protracted and successful profession in comedy, and what’s more surprising is why he never appeared in any of his hit movies with Chris.

“How is it that Chris Rock is your brother and I don’t see you wearing any of Chris Rock’s shit?” asked fellow comedian Aries Spears in the course of the October 25 episode of Tony’s podcast “Live From The Green Room.”

Tony explained that his brother is “a businessman when it comes to movies and TV.” That’s why Chris selected Martin Lawrence to play his brother in 2010’s “Death at a Funeral: A Comedy on Life Support” because he was “bigger” than Tony.

“But he and Martin push the needle more,” Tony explained, noting that he understood optics on the time. However, essentially the most devastating cinematic snub made the Top 5 list of 2014.”

“The one who fucked me up,” he revealed when asked if he was offended about it. “And I never told anyone about it.”

Chris wrote, directed and starred within the 2014 comedy drama Top 5 earned $25 million everywhere in the world. His younger brother Tony was also speculated to be within the film after he offered him a job that Tony claims he never asked for.

“People never know how close you are to each other,” he said, noting that he had only asked his brother for five favors in his life and was told “No” every time.

At the time of the Top 5 snafu, Tony was on tour acting at the Comedy Cellar in New York, and his brother was within the audience.

“He sits at the table with Colin (Quinn) and all the guys and says, ‘Hey, I’ve got a movie. I’ll put you in it,’” Tony recalled, saying he was fully prepared to audition for the role. Chris reassured him by saying, “No, you’re good, you’re good.”

“I used to be filming in New York too, and I bet I’m spending the summer in New York. … I’ll be making a movie with my brother at home this summer. I’m extremely excited; It couldn’t have been higher,” he recalled, adding that he planned to interrupt his comedy tour to shoot the film.

Unfortunately, nobody thought to inform him the small print until it was too late.

“I started getting calls like, ‘Hey, I’m on set. Where are you? We started shooting today,” the “Living Biblically” actor said, adding that he was contacted more than a month after production began. “I get a call like, ‘Hey, are you at the wrap party? We are here.”

“Hey bro, that blew me away,” Tony said. “Listen, I’ve never seen the movie ‘Top 5.’ I shouldn’t have called. You told your brother, “I’m going to put you in a movie, I just should call you.”

Many fans are siding with Tony’s younger brother on this issue after a clip from the April 2024 interview was shared on Instagram. One user wrote: “Honestly, if your brother is an icon and you are all in the same industry, TURN HIM ON!” – Not cool, Chris. Not cool in any respect,” wrote one other on X.

Other he said“The funny thing is that Will Smith cast Tony Rock on his TV show, which is his most notable role. Meanwhile, Chris Rock isn’t dragging his brother into anything. What a slap in the face.”

DJ Clark Kent’s cultural fingerprint was profoundly diverse. If his death is a huge blow to hip-hop, his death is equally devastating to the sneaker world. Clark boasted considered one of the most important and most extensive collections known. Throughout his life, he touted several collaborations with Nike and Adidas because these brands understood the influence and credibility he brought. He became embedded within the culture as a revered figure because he loved sneakers rather more than the hoopla surrounding them. This was seen in Clark and Russ Bengston’s Quickstrike, which aired from 2013 to 2016 on Complex TV. In this system, they turned a discussion about shoes and the stories related to them into an education. According to Clark, it inspired Jay-Z and Dame Dash to develop into obsessive about the Nike Air Force 1 throughout the early years of Rocafella Records. Clark was known to purchase ridiculous amounts of AF1, wear it once and throw it away. Aside from having tens of 1000’s of kicks, perhaps his best legacy within the sneaker world is what he shared together with his fans. He routinely distributed shoes to children and homeless shelters. The scavenger hunt he led throughout New York became a Clark Kent staple.

Clark stood out for his unique talent and passions, but at the identical time he was in a position to attract people. Clark was lovingly called “God’s favorite DJ” and now she is with Him. Even beyond the sadness of an irreplaceable cultural loss, there’s the wonder that brought DJ Clark Kent into our lives – and, more importantly, made us appreciate him while he was with us – in the primary place.
