Ben Affleck reportedly hasn’t moved on from his split in a recent interview, along with his soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Lopez admitting she feels “sad” and “desperate” following their split.

Lopez’s newest audience stream spoke to Interview magazine, the singer and actress talked about her insecurities, tying them to her childhood experiences growing up.

“My whole life I actually have proven that I’m enough. Dealing with the feeling of being enough at a young age is something you’ll be able to’t fathom for a very long time,” Lopez said.

She continued: “It was just being ignored, being the middle child, having a very social mom and dad who worked all day and all night, and feeling like you weren’t important, that you weren’t a priority. It’s in you.”

Lopez explained that these early feelings of inadequacy carried over into her relationships, affecting her self-esteem when all the things fell apart.

She expressed a deep sense of loneliness when relationships fell apart, which intensified her sense of dissatisfaction.

“I have to go away and be alone,” she repeated to herself. “I want to prove to myself that I can do it.”

Lopez also reflected on her “damn hard breakup” with Affleck and her other marriages, wondering why those relationships didn’t work out.

Eventually she began telling herself, “Oh, you’ll be able to’t love me if I’m flawed. I actually have to be perfect to be loved… It’s not true! Someone who truly loves you’ll assist you to heal these parts of yourself.

The Daily Mail recently reported that a supposed source near Affleck said the actor wasn’t surprised by Lopez’s revelations, saying, “Ben knows she’ll be talking about the split forever.”
