Actress and reality star Apryl Jones wants to clear the air after she was spotted with a brand new man months after her breakup with fellow actor Taye Diggs.

Jones and the mystery man were spotted just a few days ago in France during Paris Fashion Week in online posts, and lots of people immediately noticed the dark-skinned guy who wasn’t Diggs. The “Return” collaborators dated for nearly two years and broke up quietly, without officially announcing their breakup.

The former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star, who shares two children with former B2K singer Omarion, has been hanging out in Paris all week with the giggling and laughing African on her digital platforms.

On Friday, September 27, Jones made a quasi-introduction to her profile to introduce it to the world.

“14 years of friendship and many more memories to be made! I love you so much!” She sent on her Instagram.

“I know you all see this, right?” a malicious comment was read.

While one among her 3.2 million followers wrote: “I thought it was Taye Diggs” and one other wrote: “Tubi Taye Diggs.”

In an Instagram live video captured by 9 MagTV, Jones and a man named Huzizle joke about her name, saying that while in Paris she isn’t any longer “Apryl Jones” but “Apple Jones.”

“You’ll get Apryl when you go back to America,” her friend says in an exaggerated Ghanaian accent.

Even though Jones insisted they were friends, people weren’t buying it, even after they jokingly joked about hanging out, staying up too late, and traveling within the rain. The comments under the YouTube clip were stuffed with speculations.

One person said: “So what’s going on here… where is Taye Diggs… I guess this came out and this came out.”

Another said: “Oh, breaking up with Diggs.”

Huzizle is allegedly a automotive dealer and has children of his own. He can be the host of “Exotic Ride” Podcastwhere Jones appeared in April. The two talked about creating open communication with their children.

She finally went live again to put to rest speculation about who’s with her and what her on-and-off boyfriend Taye Diggs might say about her spending a lot time with him.

“My boyfriend is at home,” she said, taking a look at the camera. “And my boyfriend knows where I am.”

Huzizle chimes in, saying, “Haters,” during a video captured by 9Mag TV.

“Jesus,” she says, sounding irritated. “Because they’ll keep saying, ‘He’s your man.’ This is Temu Taye Diggs.

Huzizle jokes that the “Rent” actress is not as “sexy and black as me” – which Jones debates for a moment before everyone starts laughing on the nosy people in her comments.

They each giggle as they eat with chopsticks, talking a bit about how much fun they’re having and explaining their friendships.

“I have friendships that are very long, long friendships… very platonic relationships,” Jones said, adding: “(I have) very loyal people in my life.”

In the comments section, many individuals stuck on one key suggestion that Huzizle looks like Diggs.

“What makes him look like Taye Diggs??? IKYFL, but one thing is for sure, she has no type, she likes EVERYTHING that likes her,” one person wrote.

“Dude, you look nothing like Taye Diggs,” another person said.

Diggs and Jones were first spotted together in late 2021, and in February 2022, they immediately became a hot couple on social media. Fans cooed over their lovable dance videos, which combined Diggs’ multiple talents and sweetness with her youthful, silly energy.

The former couple even appeared in some music videos with Jones’ children, Megaa Omari Grandberry, 10, and A’mei Kazuko Grandberry, 8, whom she shares with R&B singer Omarion.

However, after two years, their relationship seemed to have fallen apart. They stopped appearing on red carpets and events together earlier this yr and have since stopped being seen on their separate sites.

Explaining the breakup on Live in May, Apryl said: “There are some gems in the world who know what they want, they know who they want to be with, they know themselves and a lot of times it can be intimidating… a lot of times it can be about everything.”
