While many stars surprised us with their modeling presence at NYFW — Noah Lyles at Willy Chavarria, NLE Choppa at Off-White, and Offset at Luar — the star-studded runways weren’t the one shows to wow twice. We sat front row at our favourite shows to witness moments of beauty from A-list guests who showed up with the whole lot from “Edna Mode” bobs to clumpy lashes to sculpted blush.

At Alaïa’s spring 2025 show, guests held their breath, Rihannawho wore glitter eye shadow (think: Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows Eyeshadow Palette), dark eyeliner, and brown lipstick. In the identical room sat Naomi Campbell, who drew attention together with her black bob, which rested on large sunglasses. Lil’ Kim in a Christian Siriano moment had distinctive eyebrows and a wet finish to her hair.

Meanwhile, Kerry Washington and Mary J. Blige crossed arms on the Michael Kors show, each pairing fairly neutral lips with dark eye makeup (Blige added shadow to darken the look). Taraji P. Henson took her latest orange pixie to the Jonathan Simkhai show, this time stripping all of it back to attract attention to a powdery blush and neutral brown lip. Rapper Doechii wore a number of looks to finish the week, but her poofy wig and covered brows on Luar took the cake.
