We love this real-life Love & Basketball couple, Nina and Russell Westbrook

We love it when considered one of our classic dark comedy movies involves life, like Nina and Russell Westbrook’s love story. They met while playing basketball at UCLA. They each played on the college’s basketball team until Russell was drafted into the NBA in 2008. They began dating in 2007. In 2020, she recalled their early relationship as rooted in rivalry. “The beginning of our relationship was really fun,” she said, sharing that they often played basketball together. She said she normally won, before joking, “I had to stop playing with him because he became a cheater.”
Fast forward to August 29, 2015, when the 2 college students tied the knot in an intimate outdoor ceremony on the Beverly Hills Hotel. Two years later, in
In May 2017, the couple welcomed their first child, Noah Russell Westbrook. The following 12 months, in September 2018, the couple announced that they were expecting one other child, but with twins, daughters Skye and Jordyn, who were born two months later.
Russell undoubtedly cares for his wife and often praises her, saying that his wife “constant sacrifice” throughout his profession, she helped him move forward. “She held his s— from start to finish, and now I’ve been able to see her grow into the things she wanted to do while also supporting me and doing things with the kids and doing this and that,” he told PEOPLE of his supportive wife. “I’m just grateful that I have a partner who’s willing to make all those sacrifices. Now we’re here.”
While Nina is a dedicated and loving mother and wife, she can also be a licensed marriage and family therapist and entrepreneur. She hosts a well-liked podcast called The Do Tell Podcast.
We love this couple because we at all times see them out and about. Their love is at all times on display, from the glittering red carpets and awards shows in Los Angeles to family outings and international date nights.

Let Anok Yai’s spiky bun inspire your holiday hair look – the essence

Earlier this week, Model of the Year nominee Anok Yai appeared at the Fashion Awards gala at London’s Royal Albert Hall. And regardless that the night ended there controversial joke for this yr’s award, the look of her hair stood out, as did her skilled achievements.
Paired with an archival John Galliano gown from 1994, her hairstyle was as avant-garde as the supermodels of the day – and was the most groundbreaking look of the night. On the foundation, a pixie cut with micro-mushrooms framed her sculpted features, and the sides stopped just at the tip of her eyebrows.
However, the summit took an unexpected turn. Almost like a headdress, straight, long strands gathered at the top of the head, overlapping right into a bow. The look was romantic and evoked the essence of Mugler’s Alien Hypersense, of which it’s the face. “I carry a bottle in every purse, it’s an addiction” Yai said in front of the red carpet.
