‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Season 4 Episode 4: Streets Almost Caught a Notable Body and Predictions on How This Series Will End

Cane Tejada knowing Motto of Clark University in Atlanta — “I’ll find a way or I’ll make it” wasn’t on my 2024 bingo card, but Tejada’s kids are able to anything. I mean, Diana and Dru arrange Tariq’s (failed) assassination of their mother, so anything goes.

Oh, how do I do know Cane knows Clark’s motto? Noma dressed him up and took him to a gala to attempt to get some contracts for something. The man she must consult with has a neighborhood guardian, so Cane was sent to distract him, and well, Cane was shining BRIGHT. Until, after all, he came upon that folks were keeping a watch on Dru. You see, Monet came upon that Diana and Dru tried to kill her, so now she’s sending Cane after them to take their lives. But he cannot try this. She has a likelihood to kill Dru at point blank range, and Dru, of all people, has his eye on him. Even Monet cannot pull the trigger on her own kids. In the hotel room they were hiding out in, she had each Diana and Dru dead on the spot, and Dru had her eye on HER. I even have to be honest, I actually hate this “Dru-as-light-enforcer-and-Monet-as-trash-truth-teller” storyline. I can not wait for him to die, which should occur THREE TIMES on this episode alone. Le sigh.

Featured Stories

Oh, Tariq chases after Diana, attempting to kill her. He seems particularly nervous concerning the undeniable fact that the Tejadases may very well be manipulating him and using him for their very own selfish gain. Effie annoys me, but she rightly points out that there is not any reason to think the Tejadases should support him or owe him anything. Tariq, of all people, should understand how razor-thin loyalty will be. Sometimes he gets emotionally involved. This is clearly about to occur, as Monet tells Tariq that Diana is pregnant, and Diana drops the hammer that he’s the daddy.

By the best way, Monet has a change of heart, which she has done over and over. She realizes what a shitty mother she was and it helped her make the choice to “try” to be a higher parent. She decides NOT to kill her kids (the undeniable fact that she has to make a deliberate decision is insane) and makes Tariq back down from his plans to kill Dru and Diana, and I’m exhausted by all this vagueness from the drug dealers. Get it done, people. We only have six episodes left — SOMEONE has to die before that is all said and done.

Oh, Brayden is throwing a huge party to start out a recent drug business to present all styles of drugs to Stansfield University’s top students. Ho hum. That’s sure to collapse sooner or later, especially with Detective Carter’s relentless pursuit of Monet and Tariq. At some point, you’ve got got to get your revenge, right?

This brings me to a few predictions, for future generations, and in case there may be money to be made out of FanDuel predictions and betting.

I’ve been racking my brain attempting to determine how this show goes to finish. I’ll also say that I actually cannot consider this show is ending. This is a huge mistake on Starz’s part. But greater than that, we only have six episodes left to wrap up this show in a way that does not piss EVERYONE off. My faith is low because none of us want this show to finish. But since we’re here, let’s make some predictions.

So this Detective Carter investigation has to bear some fruit, right? Here’s what I believe will occur. Carter will eventually meet up with Tariq and nail him, sending Tariq to prison (which just about ends St. Patrick’s reign in New York) where he gets a life sentence, unlike his father who was killed (I’m sure you do not forget that). Cane and Dru will die by some means, possibly find yourself killing one another, leaving Monet sad and broken, so she gives up drugs to handle Diana and the newborn, young Tejada-St. Patrick. Maybe they’ll move to Atlanta together with her sister, Janet. Brayden, who can even get Tariq, won’t go to prison because he’s wealthy and his family decides they miss him and uses their money and weight to maintain him out of prison. Tasha can be seen crying in protective custody when Tariq is shipped to prison.

We must wait a few months for this to be over. If my predictions don’t come true, I’m really curious to see the way it ends. So… until then!
