TI’s son shares an interesting post after the death of a Florida rapper who threatened his life
Jacksonville rapper Foolio, whose real name is Charles Jones, was fatally shot Sunday morning while celebrating his twenty sixth birthday in Tampa.
The incident took place in the parking zone of the Holiday Inn hotel where he had rented a room after the Airbnb party he was attending was shut down by police. Foolio’s attorney, Lewis Fusco, stated that Jones was essentially “ambushed” at the hotel, According to to News 4 Jax.
Just hours after the rapper’s death, his former rival King Harris, son of rapper TI, posted a statement on his Instagram Story that appeared to confer with his contemporary’s death.
The two emerging artists have attacked one another online in the past, which erupted when Foolio questioned his “gangster” credentials.
“Stay safe out here,” King wrote in what many interpreted as his final jab.
In May 2024, the “FTA” artist criticized King for denying that he was born into privilege.
In response to a video of King actually arguing with his father over his son’s wealth, Foolio wrote, “I understand why you want to be a gangster, you grew up with a silver spoon.”
The comment sparked a heated exchange on social media, with Harris difficult Foolio to a boxing match.

Influencer Rap Facts News suggested that perhaps King or his dad “dropped the bag” on Foolio’s head, meaning he was paid to eliminate him. However, that is an assumption. There isn’t any evidence that any of Harris’ men had anything to do with his death.
People also warn King to present up his fascination with street life, because nothing good will come from it.

Over the past few years, Foolio and his 6 Block/KTA crew have long been embroiled in a violent feud with rival gang ATK, using controversial lyrics to chronicle the murders of their opponents. This constant conflict gave rise to a recent hip-hop genre often known as “killer rap”.
Foolio’s famous diss track “When I See You”, a remix of Fantazja’s hit, clearly describes the murders committed by his gang. The song was a response to an ATK song boasting about the murder of Foolio’s associates. Unfortunately, the song refers to the murder of rival Royale Smith, who was celebrating his birthday at the time.

On the night of his death, Foolio celebrated his twenty sixth birthday at an Airbnb in Tampa.
