The 10 best 3DS games on Nintendo Switch and 5 we’d like to see – SwitchArcade special

Hello again, friends. I’ve been fooling around with this little series where I try to find games from other consoles which have been ported to the Switch, and with a port just across the corner, I made a decision to focus on Nintendo 3DS titles this time. Yes, the Wii U is true there. Maybe next time. Despite the inherent challenges of porting 3DS games to a console without dual screens, a comparatively large variety of them made the leap. We’ve got ten of our favourite movies here in no particular order, and only for fun, we have also added five more that we’d like to see. Let’s get gaming!
Monster Hunter Stories ($29.99)
You’ll see numerous Capcom on this list, and I think that is because the best way the corporate built its games on the 3DS made them easier to port than most. is the newest cute and fun RPG based on the publisher’s hugely famous motion game series. While the sport actually plays higher on other platforms, this Switch version not less than looks and plays significantly better than the highly ambitious 3DS original. The price is sweet too!
Apollo Justice – Ace Attorney Trilogy ($49.99)
OK, certainly one of the games on this set was a Nintendo DS game, not a 3DS game. But the opposite two are 3DS games, so I’m rounding up. The second one is maybe less enjoyable than the primary, and clearly struggles to respond to fan response in real time, but there’s still numerous good lawyering here. Follow the brand new heroes together with original hero Phoenix Wright as they struggle to navigate the dark age of law. A solid collection that makes these games…. NO APOLOGIES!
Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold ($49.99)
It’s a bit of hard for me to separate this game from what happened here in Japan. It was supposed to be the corporate’s next big multimedia hit, and plans include games, NFC toys, an animated series and more. And it fell on its stomach. The toys have been rotting here for hundreds of years. This was already an extended time ago before the sport got here to the West via Switch, after all. There was no such pressure. No, it was only a game and you realize what? It’s not too cheesy in any respect. A bit mindless, however it’s a fun grind.
Resident Evil Revelations ($19.99)
One of the more famous early third-party releases on the Nintendo 3DS, it was also certainly one of the more impressive games available on that system. However, Capcom seemed dissatisfied with the sport’s sales on the 3DS, so it quickly made its way to other platforms and achieved the success it deserved. We have this improved version on Switch and it’s still a reasonably good game. Its sequel can also be excellent, but because it never got here to the 3DS, it is not allowed on this list. Anyway, regardless that it is very much a spin-off, it’s playable and feels like a solid game. It also often goes on sale.
Miitopia ($49.99)
There were numerous Nintendo 3DS games that perhaps got here out a bit of too late to land in addition to they might have. it might be said that it’s certainly one of them that can appear in Japan just a few months before the discharge of the Switch and an analogous variety of months after the premiere within the West. It’s principally a fantasy RPG and has that typical Mii charm combined with an honest casual RPG. As all the time, half the fun is putting your mates, family, and anyone else you may make Mii into ridiculous situations. I feel like this was missed on the Switch too, so possibly it’s just fate in life.
Alliance Alive HD Remastered ($49.99)
The successor (now also available on Nintendo Switch) abandons a few of the game’s quirky elements in favor of an easier, turn-based RPG. It still retains a few of the SaGa inspiration that powered the previous game, but overall it’s much gentler. Overall an enjoyable RPG to play, especially for those in search of something that does not require numerous tinkering and fuss.
Rune Factory 4 Special ($29.99)
(*5*)
Sure, games are great fun, but you realize what makes them much more interesting? Bolting them down to an motion RPG. This was the thought of the series, and the fourth part turned out to be certainly one of the best. You’ll find several games on the Switch and I believe they’re all fun. nonetheless, it was my place to begin for this series and as such it has special meaning for me. Share my nostalgia!
Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse ($19.99)
Yes, this was indeed the primary game for the Nintendo 3DS. This is my favorite game, because it seems. I believe it strikes the best balance between exploration and player guidance, and it is a change of pace from collecting genie powers. This story can also be numerous fun because principally any reason to bring Shantae and Risky together more often is an excellent one. The entire series is essentially available all over the place now, but in case you only want one, that is the one you are in search of.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate ($39.99)
Another game for good measure. This turned out to be an excellent opportunity for Capcom, because the 3DS was already a bit late by the point the version was ready for release within the West. Instead, we got an improved version of certainly one of the more odd entries within the series. I might recommend this game, but I am unable to deny that it has a certain charm that makes it different from others. And hey, it looks really good for a 3DS port.
Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack ($39.99)
Something of a successor to the Inti Creates games, the series is fast-paced, difficult and stylish. It includes each games that were originally released on the Nintendo 3DS, and it’s an important way to get your feet wet before diving into the newer entries within the series. Sprites look really good on Switch. Just be sure that you will have a controller with an honest pad because you may really be practicing it.
And… 5 Nintendo 3DS games we’d like to see on Switch
Little Icarus: The Uprising
Look, I do not know if it could be more successful on the Switch or not, but I do know that the sport would almost actually play significantly better than it did on the 3DS. This game begs for dual-stick controls, and in truth, all the things else is so well done that it is a shame that the core gameplay had to struggle with the controls of the system that hosted it. I believe this may be an important selection for the Nintendo Switch or whatever its successor becomes.
Boldly by default
I enjoyed all three games, but for my money there is barely one game that is actually on this series and that’s the first one. Both traditional and fresh at the identical time, it was precisely the tonic many RPG fans needed after the, ahem, selections of the trilogy. There are one or two tricks in the sport that is likely to be difficult to translate without all of the special features of the 3DS, but I believe the sport could roughly keep the journey intact. It could be nice if this groundbreaking title was available more widely, and the Switch could be an excellent host for it.
Super Mario 3D Land
If you have read all of those articles I’ve written, you have probably noticed a theme. I need a 3D game on Switch and we’re so close I can practically smell it. is not the best 3D stuff, however the post-game content specifically has that tangy flavor that I appreciate. I’m unsure if it could work best as a standalone or with other games in a brand new bundle, but either way I’d love to see it.
Metroid – The Return of Samus
It was certainly one of those games that hit the tail end of the Nintendo 3DS and that is why I do not think it got the eye it deserved. Sure, it has just a few problems with over-reliance on timers and some overly long boss battles, but in case you liked it, you’ll likely enjoy this listen. I believe scalability could be very nice, and the port would give the team a probability to make some minor changes to address a few of the criticism.
Shin Megami Tensei IV
We even have it for Nintendo Switch, and in case you want to support Japanese Nintendo Switch Online apps and can read Japanese, we even have the primary two games. The one now we have is and if Atlus released it on Switch I could be greater than joyful to add it to my collection. If Atlus is feeling particularly generous, it might be included for the ultimate release. Both are very cool games that deserve more exposure.
And that is the list, friends. Are there any Nintendo 3DS games that you just enjoy on Switch? Would you like to see something? Have your say within the comments and tell us what you’re thinking that! It’s all the time interesting to hear other people’s opinions on this topic. As all the time, thanks for reading!

Waiting at Battlefield 6 will no longer be with full disclosure this summer

We are actually almost 4 years from restless launch Making it the longest gap between latest entries within the history of a multiplayer franchise. But Electronic Arts guarantees that fans will not need to wonder what will occur next for the longer term much longer. It was published by March 2026, the publisher confirmed on Tuesday.
“Looking to the future, we are sure of our ability to perform a deep pipeline – leading this summer with a very expected disclosure, a key step in providing our next generation Blockbuster Entertainment,” said CEO Andrew Wilson today in a press release. In addition to the upcoming business card, he confirmed that the sport would be available this financial yr, a window that has grow to be way more open because it was pushed back to May 2026.
Wilson earlier suggested that Juggernaut Rockstar Games was a think about the account from the starting window. “We think that the game will be great and ready at this time, but if we approached this time frame and believed that it will not be a great window for us, we are looking at how it could be an alternative window that would give us the right time, energy and player’s acquisition, so that all that must be necessary.
Is it possible that now we see that the game arrives earlier than expected and goes to the head with the next autumn? And will we see the next stick to the current point of 70 USD or jump on Microsoft’s fashion and aim $ 80 with some other editions this holiday season? These will be some of the questions that EA faces when he tries to restore her former glory after a series of errors in recent entries.
So far the noise is positive. Players’ tests and ongoing leaks in the next are longtime fans, excited that the franchise can find its position again, and also return to their roots. It would be nice to have a back in a mixture for many players, even if the live service market is becoming more competitive than ever.

Tom Cruise promises the underwater sequence “Unlike any other” in the mission: Impossible – final settlement

From speeds to trains to flying motorcycles, Tom Cruise was still attempting to float with each subsequent movie bone breaking during the process. So what could he do to boost the bar? Well, hanging on the side of the plane again Apparently it isn’t the only thing. The aging Hollywood icon is now promising an underwater stuntman, unlike any fans.
“Since 1985 I have been studying and shot underwater sequences for over 40 years”, Cruise Posted on X on Monday. “We have always tried to move our creation of movies to a higher level. In this McQ movie and we saw the opportunity to create an underwater sequence as opposed to any other. We are glad that we can share with you.”
He also published a brief clip from behind the backstage in the production of the film, which incorporates his scenes floating through something that appears to be a fallen submarine in which AI called the essence threatens the world from 2023. It seems that Christopher Mcquarrie, which he directed, and likewise had an entire a part of the interior, was recreated for the scenes. We hope that in addition to the recent ways in which Cruise states that his insurance agents have developed, the sequence isn’t based on special post -production effects to influence.
This isn’t the first principal water feat. I saw a cruise hold your breath for six minutes In the scene where his character, Ethan Hunt, needed to unlock the manhole, spinning around the giant server cooling tank. And this scene took place only after the Cruise was filmed, for which Mcquarrie helped write a script, which ends along with his diving character under the water under the Louvre Pyramid in Paris to kill an enormous aliens.
He hits theaters in just just a few weeks on May 23 and brings many questions whether a cruise and franchise still have recent tricks in the sleeves. First of all, the query arises how the film can be good at many calls with previous entries in the irritated franchise in trailers, and what’s going to tell us about how Hunt joined the IMF, first, the story of the story. The biggest query, nonetheless, is whether or not it should be the last Cruise movie. Given his obsession with movies, Hollywood and his heritage at the ticket office, I doubt it in some way. At least so long as higher than his predecessor.
