After comedian Rob Schneider went on a profanity-laced tirade about Will Smith on a radio show, the superstar’s comedic ally responds. Actor and humorist Aries Spear has joined the Atlanta Black Star Instagram fray to defend the “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” star.

“I actually have met Will Smith on several occasions. He’s truly considered one of the nicest and most humble guys in the sport,” said the “MADtv” alum.

On June 12, Schneider slammed Will Smith for punching Chris Rock two years ago on the Oscars, bringing an old scandal to light just because the Oscar winner’s latest film “Bad Boys: Ride Or Die” starring Martin Lawrence crushed the box office at opening weekend. Rock and Schneider are each early ’90s “Saturday Night Live” alums and bond over their years together.

To recap, Chris Rock was presenting the award for best documentary in 2022 when he made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. “Jada, I love GI Jane 2, I can’t wait to see it,” he said of the actress, who says she suffers from alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss.

Noticing his wife’s response, Smith ran on stage and punched Chris Rock, then shouted from his seat for Rock to maintain Jada’s name out of his mouth.

Jada and Smith’s marriage was tumultuous, to say the least. She claimed to People that they were separated on the time of the blow and have been since 2016, although they don’t have any plans to divorce – oddly enough, thanks largely to the incident.

“It took that slap to convince me that I would never leave him. Who knows what our relationship would have been like if this hadn’t happened?” she told the Daily Mail’s You Magazine.

Schneider resurrected an old scandal on the Australian radio show “Kyle and Jackie O.” He is best known for his role as an aquarium cleaner within the film “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo”. We have not seen Schneider this indignant since comedian Fred Armisen threw a cigarette right into a fishbowl.

“Will Smith is a moron. Will Smith was hiding the fact of who he really was, and it was revealed that night. He’s a real asshole,” said Schneider, who continued his tirade: “He’s a liar, a total fraud. Will is an asshole. The thing is how politically correct the Academy is. That they were so cowardly,” added Schneider, who called the incident a “crime” and believes he would have “been dragged to jail” if he had punched Chris Rock. “They were so worried they might be racist.”

Both Australian radio presenters reacted strongly to Schneider, with Jackie O saying: “Back up a minute” and Kyle Sandilands asking the million-dollar query: “But didn’t you also think he was standing up for his lover?”

Commenters on Atlanta Black Star’s Instagram post appear to side with Will Smith, though the talk continues.

“I don’t like the fact that CR has been talking bad about this man’s wife for years,” said one, while one other commented: “I do know firsthand that he has been unfair to people when he had nothing to realize from it . I do not like what he did to Rock, but that is between them. And many individuals I respect sometimes act out of their very own accord.

In his defense, Spears added: “That’s not who he really was or is like most people, he just succumbs to the pressure of being in a terrible situation with the woman he adores that drives him crazy and he had a breakdown.”

However, one other commenter asks: “Does this give him a free pass to assault? I’m sure there are people who have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the worst criminals.”

Will Smith’s entire response was definitely about jealousy… because all these comedians who act like Will would do something as unspeakable as defend his wife are incredibly silent about Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears.

Spears knows what it takes to be canceled or face public scrutiny for her actions following the 2022 kid’s skit scandal. He and Tiffany Haddish were charged with child molestation in a lawsuit following a viral sketch titled “Through the Eyes of a Pedophile” featuring the young actress and her brother after they were minors.

The young girl within the video claims they “groomed” and “molested” them, and court documents show their mother agreed to a $15,000 settlement.

Meanwhile, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is expected to be the primary hit of the summer season.
