It looks like SNK is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of this great series by offering an enormous discount on the entire ACA NeoGeo game lineup for mobile and Switch (available later today). Years ago, Hamster began releasing older SNK games as part of their ACA NeoGeo offering. Over the years, there have been some useful emulation features for traditional console games. We began seeing these half-price mobile hits ($3.99 vs. $7.99 on console) published by SNK as well. Yesterday in the course of the Nintendo Indie World Partner Direct, whatever it’s called, Red Nexus Games’ pachinko roguelike (free) games were announced and released on Switch. I didn’t realize that was when it reached version 1.0 on Steam. I actually have this game on Switch, and while we’d like slightly more time for our review, version 1.0 has finally arrived on iOS and Android after launching on Switch yesterday and updating Steam a number of hours later. Highlights include the ultimate Cruciball levels (17-20), a brand new forest mini-boss, a brand new rare roundrel relic, tons of balance tweaks, gameplay changes to how boring pegs work, bestiary research pace changes, and more.
