Cam’ron explains Dipset’s embarrassing defeat to The Lox and the moment he knew it was over
It’s been three years since New York rap groups Dipset and The Lox went head-to-head in a “Verzuz” battle, with The Lox emerging victorious.
In the premiere episode of Cam’ron’s latest web show “Talk With Flee,” which aired on November 8, the Dipset member discussed the moment he realized his group lost to The Lox during their August 2021 match at Madison Square Garden.
He said, “The Lox really had good music and they didn’t come to play any games.”
“This was the first ‘Verzuz’ that went this way,” he said, explaining that in most “Verzuz” battles, the performers often take turns going back and forth. “They just took the opportunity and began singing the songs one after the other. Niggas back start talking crazy. Nigga Juelz said you ain’t got nothing on these bitches.
Then the DJ played Mariah Carey’s song “Honey” featuring Ma$ei The Lox. Cam’ron said he thought, “This isn’t going well.”
“And then when Jadakiss dumped that rattling Biggie, I said no, this is not going well. It’s not right,” he said, referring to the song “The Last Day” by Notorious BIG featuring The Lox.
After determining that Dipset had lost, Cam’ron said that it modified his other plans for the show’s finale.
“And remember, we were losing badly from the start all evening. So I had a freestyle ready that I was going to do at the end of the night. But we were so sad that after I was about to do it, the crowd didn’t even want to hear it and began booing. And I said that was just fucked up. That night the whole lot disappeared.
But that is not all. The rapper said he also lost out on a tour he had originally planned with The Lox before recording “Verzuz.” In fact, Cam’ron initially wanted to deal with touring and kept shutting down Verzuz because they were going to make less money. They were only supposed to earn $100,000 for the entire group on “Verzuz,” but they were scheduled to receive $1.5 million during the tour.
However, a member of his group, Jim Jones, aka Capo, said he would give Cam’ron all the money they made on “Verzuz” because he just wanted to perform at Madison Square Garden again. When he saw Capo’s great desire to perform, he relented, but not without negotiation.
First, he negotiated a rise of their salaries from $100,000 to $500,000. He then received Triller shares, 25 percent on entry and one other 25 percent upon closing the deal. He also asked for six strokes from Swizz Beatz and six strokes from Timbaland, and in the event that they sell out, he’ll get some money on the back end.
So after the battle was over, the plan was to proceed the route.
However, the people running the tour called Cam’ron and explained some events that occurred during Verzuz, which caused them to cancel the tour. He said they noticed a small “brotherly spat” between him and The Lox member Styles P after Styles sat on his beach chair. Although he tried to explain the situation, their response was, “It didn’t look safe.”
According to him, in addition they said, “And then if you were on the scene, gang-related activity was mentioned, so Chicago was out, Miluwakee was out and St. Louis is out.”
Of course, this was a blow to Cam’ron because not only did he not want to do Verzuz in any respect, but everyone lost out as each of them got paid six figures for the tour.
But as for the loss to The Lox itself, Cam’ron didn’t take it too hard.
He said: “First of all, let me say this: I do not like to lose, ever. I never liked losing. But if I had to lose to anyone and still live with it and not be mad about it, it could be The Lox. They are my brothers. These are my niggas.
“And that was a well-deserved man,” he added, “because I think The Lox don’t get a lot of the recognition that they deserve, so if I had to lose to anyone and say, ‘Oh well,’ it’d be them n***as.”
Fans reacted to Cam’ron’s teaser clip on the Welcome to Culture Instagram page.
One person said: “Cam wore a dipset! They were out of breath and weren’t really prepared! ! ! Period.”
A second person wrote: “If Dipset practiced for even an hour, they would probably look better on stage. I see the Lox took the time to put on a good show!”
A 3rd person said: “That’s not why you lost! Dipset never beat Jadakiss!”

Outraged mom throws ‘N—er’ and ‘Gorilla’ insults at Druski over claims he abused her son on Kai Cenata livestream
The mother lost public sympathy by throwing racist insults at Druski after he insulted her son.
This was the case within the November 28 video reposted in Drama Alert in X, a mother sits next to her son Joseph and details her events during his appearance on Kai Cenat’s Thanksgiving special.
She said: “They didn’t let me take my son. Security would block me. The person in charge of telling me what was going to happen claimed my son was crying because he didn’t get food, which was a lie. An older person – Druski – physically and mentally abused my son, calling him a fat nigger or whatever he said. But it’s a huge silverback gorilla. There was no point in talking to a 9-year-old like that. My son was going to work there for acting, and that was out of the question.”
Joseph joined Cenat’s streaming channel for his special “Thanksgiving Dinner with Kevin Hart and Druski!” As the title suggests, the film stars Cenat, Druski and Kevin Hart, in addition to LeBron James’ 17-year-old son, Bryce James. The child actor was solid as Pugsley from The Addams Family together with a bunch of other actors sitting at a table.
Once everyone seems to be seated, Druski points to Joseph to ask his name, while calling him a “fat nigger.”
“What’s your name, little nigga?” – Druski asked the 9-year-old.
Cenat tries to stop Druski, who continues to poke while calling out his peers who called him the identical name.
“Hey! Calm down, brother,” Cenat said, to which Druski replied: “He’s a fat nigger! You’ve been telling me that all fucking night! Everyone calls me a fat nigger! But I can’t call another fat little nigga a fat nigga? Fuck it! Do you want to be fatphobic when it comes to your baby but not me? Like, come on! What about me, nigga?!”
Joseph begins to cover his ears and just a few seconds later begins to cry before Cenat comes over to hug him. Druski follows in his footsteps, also hugs Józef and says: “My evil.” Tylil James, a frequent guest on Cenat’s Live, takes Joseph aside while Cenat takes Druski to a different room to admonish him.
The video later shows Druski apologizing to Joseph again, saying he had “a few drinks” and explaining that he connected with Joseph because he was also a “bigger dude.”
The next day, the outraged mother did so many movies – the comedian exclaimed after revealing that her son cried non-stop.
However, in her latest video, Joseph’s mother reaches as much as her neck while sitting next to her son.
“It was just the abuse you saw that they wouldn’t let me get close to my son,” she said. “And when my son got here out crying and told us every thing, my husband called Druski, and Druski didn’t want to depart. Then ten securities arrived, we took our things and left. I cried with my son within the automotive because they hid it from me and allowed something like this to occur to my son. And that basically hurt him. I do not think they need to keep their kids around drunk men, which is something they have not told me.
Reminding his mother that she “forgot” something, Joseph mentions that they “broke the law.”
Mother Józefa continues: “Oh, they also broke the regulations regarding children’s permits. Very unprofessional. We love Kai Cenat, we have worked with him before, but ladies and gentlemen, no. Druski, you are not him. This is a kids show with Kai Cenat and I don’t think Kai would act like this. I don’t think that’s part of his criteria. I will never want to work with them again.”
While some felt her anger was justified, others felt little sympathy when the mother dropped the N-word and called Druski a “silverback gorilla” due to the racial history behind the term.
One person on shit…”
One second he said“She fights against racism. LMAO she called him a silverback gorilla????”
As a part of neighborhood conversations repost music video, fans were much more terrified.
“Did I JUST hear the N-word come out of her mouth,” a 3rd fan asked.
A fourth wrote: “Wait, pause because mom was saying the N-word a little too loosely.”
It’s unclear whether the mom plans to sue Druski or Cenat, but fans appear to think that is the motive behind her music video.

Nike Taps RZA as part of the Wu-Tang Clan Dunk High re-release
To rejoice the twenty fifth anniversary of the 1999 release of the Wu-Tang Clan Dunk High, Nike enlisted Wu-Tang founder and producer RZA will star in a brand new Nike industrial narrated by member Raekwon celebrating the official return of kicks.
“The Hive” features RZA performing his duties as a beekeeper, while Raekwon talks about the importance of bees in our natural environment.
“The ancient Egyptians believed that bees were servants of the gods and carved beekeeping instructions in the chambers of the pyramids,” Raekwon says in Latin announcing the presence of a killer bee. “A single bee couldn’t survive without a hive, just as humanity couldn’t survive without bees.”
“We are all connected to the same chain,” Raekwon continues. “The black and yellow patterns serve as a warning to any predator that they are not to be fucked with.”
As RZA shows off his recent, revamped sneakers, New York Knicks starters Josh Hart, Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges also appear, watching the hip-hop legend from afar through binoculars. RZA then takes off his beekeeper hat to look directly into the camera and remind the world that it’s “Wu-Tang Forever” as bees create the group’s iconic yellow and black logo in the sky.
The ad draws inspiration from the Wu-Tang Clan’s nickname “Killa Bees” and the group’s quite a few nods to killer bees of their music. Nike senior global creative director Kimou Meyer got here up with the idea to include this iconic motif into the spot, and director Ben Solomon brought that vision to life with the final concept titled “The Hive.”
“We all knew we wanted to create something that was true to the language, energy and culture of Nike and Wu-Tang Clan, but without feeling retro” – Solomon he said .
The original sneakers paid homage to Wu-Tang’s 1993 debut album, releasing only 36 pairs that were gifted to the group’s members, their relations and several other Nike employees. Now the re-release is out there on the Nike SNKRS app and retails for $150.
