One of the perfect games ever released has received a small but much appreciated update that permits the open-world motion game to run at 60 frames per second on current-gen consoles.

November 18 Ubisoft announced that 2015 models have received a latest update. However, this little patch didn’t add a latest area to the sport, fix some old bugs, add an additional weapon or anything like that. Instead, a latest update from Ubisoft permits you to play the Assassin’s Creed sequel at 60 frames per second on PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

“Revisit the Assassin fantasy and eliminate your enemies smoother than ever (with a free 60 FPS patch). Explore the streets of London in a whole new light and enhance your gaming experience with twice the frame rate on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro,” Ubisoft said in a post announcing the patch.

It’s nice to see Ubisoft come back and update an older but still excellent game, allowing us to take advantage of the more powerful current-gen consoles we have today. What’s more, on Xbox Series X, PS5 and PS5 Pro you can play in 4K resolution at 60 FPS. The Xbox Series S only runs at 1080p, but it still gets a 60fps boost.

It’s ironic – very good game with a great map and one of the best endings in the seriesget the patch on PS5 this makes it work better on the Sony console. In 2020, shortly after the PS5 launched, it was one of the few games that didn’t run properly on the console due to backwards compatibility. This is one of the best ways to play open world London murder simulator. Funny how this all works, huh?
