Stand-up comedian Gary Owen has revealed that he recently welcomed a set of twins, although he jokingly claims that one is white and the opposite is black.

Owen appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” this week to speak about his profession, life, children and the ugly divorce from ex-wife Kenya Duke that has made headlines over time.

During the interview, the “Ride Along” actor was asked if reports were true that he had twins with one other woman last 12 months.

“Damn, you know everything,” Owen told Sharpe, before confirming, “Yes, I knew it.”

Owen’s twins, Royal Blu and Rome Bohdi, whom he shares with his recent fiancée, Brianna Johnson, are 9 months old.

Who is Brianna Johnson?

Owen and Duke were married for 18 years, from 2003 to 2021. The world fell in love with them after they appeared on the BET reality show “The Gary Owen Show.”

However, in keeping with a now-deleted post by Owen’s ex-wife, Johnson is allegedly the identical woman the “Daddy Daycare” star cheated on her with while the couple was married.

Duke claims that the rationale for his or her split was Owen’s alleged infidelity with Johnson, which she looked as if it would suggest when she publicly posted in regards to the divorce on social media.

BET reported that Duke wrote: “He doesn’t support his wife financially. Even though he sent me zero money (from the corporate I help construct), I still pay his bills. You could have it, but you do not have the cash. NO!!! Change to a lawyer, now you played a giant role on this divorce.

Although Duke didn’t share how long she suspected her ex was having an affair with Johnson before her removal, the connection had a detrimental impact on the wedding and the lives of their two children, Austin, 23, and Kennedy, 21, and their son Duke Emilio from a previous relationship, whom Owen treats as his own.

He told Sharpe that the twins are “amazing” and are at an age where their behavior could be easily influenced by idolizing their dad.

Johnson announced her pregnancy and engagement to the movie star via social media in February 2023 in an Instagram post awarded a photograph gallery of her emerald-cut diamond ring, Owen on bended knee during a rose-filled proposal, and her holding an ultrasound of the babies.

It also features a photo of Owen, Johnson and Johnson’s daughter, Reign, each wearing Cincinnati Bengals pajamas in front of a Christmas tree, holding two baby onesies with the Bengals logo.

Royal Blu and Rome were born five months later, on July 20, 2023.

Twins: “One white, one black”

While Owen joked that they appear like two different races, fraternal twins look very similar, have different phenotypes and, in keeping with their mother, are very different from one another.

“One is white. One’s Black,” the comedian told Sharpe, adding his comedic style. “I swear to God someone has blue eyes. You can talk in regards to the nipples and testicles. Someone has blue eyes, pink balls and pink nipples. Second brown eyes, brown balls and brown nipples.

In the post, by which Johnson refers back to the boys as Baby A and Baby B, he describes who they were before as they approached their first birthday.

Royal Blu, whom she calls “Baby A”, has blue eyes and is the older of two children. In solo photos, he seems to have an outgoing personality. Mom I’m writing“Over the last 6 months you have shown us that you are caring, kind, compassionate, funny and joyful. You are such a good big brother of Rome.”

Of Rome Bohdi, Owen, whom she calls “Baby B,” wrote: “You are a sweet, gentle soul. You are a lovely, calm and sweet boy. Truly a sissy and I hope that never changes.”

Judging by the photos where it’s clear that Owen may be very lively within the boys’ lives on the pool, on a visit to Disney, on a plane and at a photograph shoot, each of them is wearing durags.

The second Johnson child to seem within the engagement and baby announcement carousel is 10-year-old Reign Johnson. Owen, who appears to be lively, has not revealed whether he’ll lend his name as he did for Duke’s son, Emilio.

Owen’s detached relationships with his older children

As he talked about child prodigies, Owen’s tone became somber. “It sucks too… my kids… they don’t know them well,” he told Sharpe. “They have no contact with them and I don’t want them to know them when they are 4 or 5 years old.”

The registered nurse suggests that the divorce can also be the rationale why Owen’s older children have not spoken to him in three years.

Duke has apparently publicly explained why Austin, Kennedy and Emillio want nothing to do with their father. She said she “doesn’t respect their boundaries”, writing on her Instagram: “@garyowencomedy it has been 3 years. I’m at all times nice and cool to you. I purposely never make it awkward. I never disturb you.

She continued: “I even have given you my suggestions regarding this case, but you don’t respect their boundaries. That’s why you brought it up again on social media. I do not know what else I can do to assist you. I at all times wish you well.
