Wendy Williams’ ex-husband Kevin Hunter demands that the talk show host appear in person at his child support hearing as he returns to social media

Published

By

The ongoing legal dispute over child support between 60-year-old Wendy Williams and her ex-husband is not over yet, but 52-year-old Kevin Hunter wants every thing he thinks he’s owed.

Their divorce was finalized in 2020. However, his child support fight has been happening publicly for several years, since the end of “The Wendy Williams Show.” Hunter, who incessantly shared posts containing accusations against him on his social media accounts, claimed that his ex-wife stopped paying child support before she was placed under probation in May 2022.

He received little attention after he disappeared from social media in May 2024, two months after court documents were filed that outlined when the “severance pay” ended. But he has since returned, and it seems to be doing so with a vengeance.

Hunter’s latest legal move to order Williams to appear at a court hearing was met mostly with public scorn. His answer is consistent with Wendy’s first public appearance in over a yr. In August, the media freak was seen on Facebook in a photograph with Victor Bowman Jr., son of the late herbalist Alfredo Bowman, also known as Dr. Sebi.

Williams’ ex appears to imagine that if she will be able to visit Newark, New Jersey, to purchase his herbal products, she is going to have the opportunity to appear before a judge as she battles Graves’ disease and other health issues. She has reportedly been living in Florida since last yr after selling her penthouse in Manhattan, New York for $4.5 million.

Hunter has made his Instagram page is private and his bio reads: “Father, Vegan, Executive Producer and Influencer, HUNTER PUBLISHING GROUP.”

Hunter claims he received his last $37,000 child support payment in January 2022. A number of months later, in May, Williams was placed under court-ordered conservatorship, allowing legal guardian Sabrina Morrissey to oversee her funds and medical care.

In an attempt to revive his affluent lifestyle, he began a petition earlier this yr to proceed repayments regardless that Williams was unemployed after her famous talk show was pulled from national television.

A judge had previously denied his request for access to Wendy’s financial records and bank statements. In response, the probation officer alleged that he had received six-figure amounts of unjustified payments and demanded their return. Morrisey also sought a gag order to prevent Wendy’s ex-husband from speaking out about the case.

According to SunFor months, Hunter has been questioning whether Wendy’s guardian has the right to represent her in court proceedings over alleged unpaid child support.

In documents filed in July, he argued: “Ms. Morrissey is a lawyer in New York, not New Jersey, and although she claims to have been appointed Guardian in New York, her Guardianship does not extend to this court because no Guardianship has been established in New Jersey.”

Meanwhile, Hunter also asked the judge to order Williams to appear in court on her own behalf, asking the court to “discipline Ms. Morrissey and prohibit her from appearing in court as a ‘Pro Se’ litigant.”

Because Morrissey became guardian two years after the final divorce, he believes she has “no legal standing” in the matter.

“SM. Morrissey is not a party to the divorce and therefore should not be involved,” he wrote in a court filing. This month, a judge gave Morrissey 21 days to prove she was authorized to represent Williams in the legal proceedings.

On site shared the news about Hunter’s fight for more cash from Wendy on Instagram, where followers reacted harshly to the former executive producer of Wendy’s show.

“A very sad man. Whatever, let it go. Go find a job,” one person wrote. A like-minded person added, “I see myself chasing everything but the job fair.”

Regarding Hunter’s history of infidelity, third party he said“Remember he cheated on her and had a child with her while married to her, so I don’t know why he would get anything.”

After almost 20 years of marriage, Williams filed divorce by Hunter in April 2019. They have one son together, 24-year-old Kevin Hunter Jr.

The divorce seemed to be due to Hunter’s divorce reported a 15-year affair with lover Sharina Hudson, who welcomed her daughter a month earlier, in March 2019.

“He and his lover deserve all the karma that comes their way,” one person said about Kevin Hunter and Sharina Hudson.

Williams’ financial situation deteriorated after Wells Fargo froze her accounts in January 2022 when Hunter claimed he stopped receiving payments due to health issues, raising concerns that a guardian could have been needed to oversee her money.

Throughout her profession, the Gossip Queen has struggled with quite a few health and wellness issues, including stints in rehab for drugs and alcohol.

Additionally, Williams suffers from Graves’ disease, thyroid problems and lymphedema. She was also diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.

In July 2022, Wendy’s childhood friend Regina Schell made a press release alleging that former radio DJ $55 million in your Wells Fargo account.

However, during a scene in the Lifetime movie “Where is Wendy Williams?” documentaries, Williams declared on camera, “I don’t have any money.” The premiere of the four-part program took place on February 24, 2024.

Social media users have reacted to Williams’ alleged lack of fortune. An OnSite commenter wondered, “Before this lady took over, $55 million. Where did the money go?”

Wendy Williams rose to fame in the Nineteen Nineties as a radio personality based in New York. Her nationally syndicated show frequently featured gossip about celebrities such as Whitney Houston, Method Man and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The New Jersey native finally made it to television with “The Wendy Williams Show.” The popular daytime talk show ran from 2008 to 2022.

Hunter was also Wendy’s longtime manager and briefly worked on the show, even after their split in 2019.
