Vontae Davis’ widow reveals shocking theory about former football star’s mysterious death at age 35
Former NFL linebacker Vontae Davis died suddenly on Monday, April 1, and while the official reason for death likely won’t be known for an additional month, Davis’ wife believes she knows what could have killed him.
Davis died at the house of his grandmother, Adaline Davis, in Southwest Ranches, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was found unconscious within the gymnasium by the housekeeper and later pronounced dead.
TMZ gained the audio of a 911 call made by a lady reporting that she had found Davis’ body. In the heavily redacted call, the dispatcher instructs the lady to locate a defibrillator and use it, but it surely is unclear whether she complied.
Davis’ death raises questions for his family members, but his widow has doubts about his health.
Megan Harpe, a family law attorney and Davis’ wife of just about a decade, told the press that he was unwell before his premature death, but didn’t say what might need caused his death.
“Yes, he had CTE… there is definitely a story behind it,” Harpe reportedly said he wrote in a text message to the Daily Mail.

“Maybe it’s, possibly it’s not. We don’t really have a solution to that because there isn’t any technique to look into our brain while we’re alive,” the older sibling said, explaining that so far as he knew, his brother was nice and never showed any signs of anything, not even drug use .
“I was at his house two weeks ago and he had a masseur there,” he said. “He had a stretching therapist, a chiropractor and so on.”
Although Vernon claims he didn’t witness any drug use, Vontae faced serious problems in 2023. In February, he was involved in a DUI accident by which he crashed his Tesla right into a stopped truck before falling asleep on the side of the road. This incident led to a $1 million lawsuit.
In addition to legal issues, 2023 was also marked by a painful divorce.
Despite Vontae’s challenges, Vernon described him as “like a son”.
“We were four years apart, but I remember waking him up for training when he was young and I was in high school. I made him do it because I wanted him to succeed even more than I wanted him to succeed,” the older brother said.
He continued: “I am proud of him for his great work ethic, skill and discipline. For understanding the difference between being good at something and great at something, and for putting in the work.”
Both brothers considered themselves “differentiators” of their family.
Their third brother, Michael Davis, was placed in foster care after fatally beating a stranger with a sledgehammer in 2012. Meanwhile, their mother struggled with drug addiction and their father, shot multiple times by his third brother, struggled with alcoholism.
Despite these challenges, they supported one another, working to enhance their lives and providing assistance to their 81-year-old grandmother.
Vernon said, “I couldn’t have chosen a better little brother.”

NFL Hall of Fame receiver and podcast host Terrell Owens has signed with a talent agency to further strengthen his claims within the entertainment game.

A member of the 2000 NFL All-Decade Team, Owens finished his profession with 1,078 catches for 15,934 yards, 14.8 yards per catch and 153 touchdowns, rating third all-time in receiving yards and touchdowns.
Since retiring from skilled soccer in 2012, Owens has already made several moves. He has appeared in several movies and tv shows, including “,” and in addition had his own reality show, “, on VH1.
He currently co-hosts the podcast with former NFL player and sports analyst Shannon Sharpe.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker brings an NBA championship desire with his Olympic experience

After months of introducing the players and coaches who will participate in its inaugural season, the brand new Unrivaled 3-on-3 women’s basketball league announced its team rosters and coaching assignments on Wednesday.
Founded by WNBA players Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, Unrivaled consists of six teams of six players each. The league was created to offer WNBA players with a substitute for playing overseas in the course of the offseason.
Although initially announced as having 30 players, the league has since expanded to 36, which Collier attributed “above financial forecasts”. The league has announced 34 players publicly up to now.
The inaugural season of Unrivaled will begin on January 17, 2025, with all games going down in Miami. Here are the official teams for the inaugural season, as well season schedule.
