Nene Leakes claims Porsha Williams withdrew from her on the Mike Epps show because she wasn’t supportive after Williams filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia

Former reality star Nene Leakes claims her former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Porsha Williams refused to collaborate on the comedy series.

The two secured guest spots on “The Upshaws,” but Williams apparently didn’t wish to work with her. Leakes claims that this decision was made because Porsha felt that her “big sister” showed no concern for her well-being during the recent breakdown of her marriage. It’s been weeks since Williams filed for divorce from her husband of just about 15 months, Simon Guobadia.

The Nigerian businessman, who can also be charged with fraud and falsifying immigration documents, can also be close friends with Leake’s boyfriend of three years, African entrepreneur and menswear designer Nyonisela Sioh. Two hang around most recently last week.

Leakes said she thought they were just having a public fight and it will all be over, but that wasn’t a reason to depart the job, resulting in speculation that she and Williams were on par.

The widowed influencer, who lost her husband Gregg to cancer in 2021, took to social media to specific her frustration with the whole situation. What’s more, she felt hot for host Dish Nash’s failure to contemplate the effect it could have on her as a black woman if she was labeled as difficult to work with in Hollywood.

In a series of videos, Leakes detailed what happened, from soups to nuts.

She said her manager contacted her about appearing on Michael Epps’ Netflix comedy series and that the episode was directed by former “RHOA” forged member and acting legend Kim Fields. According to Leakes, she was excited and couldn’t wait to get to work.

The 56-year-old was told she can be playing alongside Williams, which made her much more excited.

“We always have a good laugh when we see each other,” Leakes said of her friend. “So I thought, ‘OK, so me and Porsha are going to kill this part.'”

When she arrived on set, wearing her wardrobe, the showrunner told her to undergo scenes and alter her outfit because Williams was wearing an analogous color. Leakes says in the recording that she noticed during rehearsal that she never saw Williams after lunch or after they finished performing.

“When I got to the hotel, the production called me and asked if I was having any problems with any of the Housewives because they were going to recast the cast,” Leakes recalled.

Cynthia Bailey was ultimately hired to play the role Porsha had shied away from, but the fun of filming didn’t erase how furious Leakes was with her “little sister” when she heard why she left the show.

An insider told her Williams had an issue with her.

“To hear that Porsha went to the production company and said she didn’t want to work with me because we had a lot of problems in the past (which upset me),” she said. “Remember, I have not been a housewife for over 4 and a half years. Besides… When you call a black woman offended… difficult… it is a death trap… in the industry.

Leakes added: “We don’t have any issues we can’t work on together.”

We are professionals, she added. “We come on set and work together. (If) you had to decide on a housewife (with) who you had an issue with, it definitely would not be me. That can be with Kenya. That can be with Kandi. These were your essential problems. We had some minor issues. We’re on a reality show, so in fact we’ll have some issues, but we have not had anything we couldn’t work together on.

One of the issues that got here to light in March 2019 was a series of nasty text messages allegedly sent by Leakes, which Williams shared on Instagram. She claimed to have received the text messages six days after her daughter Pilar was born.

“Fat shaming new mom, shame on you,” she wrote in her hashtags under the post with “Unsupportive bird with no edge. Is this your Queen?”

Messages show that Leakes referred to her friend as a “lying… fat, hungry son of a bitch” after Williams claimed that Leakes “choked, scratched herself while being one of the producers during a closet scene in her house in Season 11.”

She claimed the man needed to go to hospital, although video footage shows Leakes dragging the man out of the closet by his shirt after she firmly asked them to remain outside.

Kandi Burruss, who was also in attendance, recalled a person who kept his hands up and didn’t resist, but by some means “knocked out his tooth” during the reunion.

Williams claimed she only shared the text message Leakes was talking about on Instagram Live. The messages also show Leakes bragging about “securing the bags” and claiming to be the “HBIC she (Porsha) wants to be!” They each continued to comment on one another’s “damaged” or “boxy” bodies and “extremely small baby ankles.”

In her last text with Leakes, she wrote: “Try going on a food plan! You know, it’s something you have never been good at.

In 2021, when Leakes called for a boycott of Bravo, Williams didn’t side with her, and the older sister took to X to share a post about the “Porsha’s Family Matters” star.

“They’re afraid they’ll lose their paychecks, but you can’t let them get away with discrimination, retaliation, blacklisting and unequal pay! There is strength in numbers. I will start calling EVERYONE TO LEAVE” – read the post.

The irregular enemies had many public arguments, but they managed to resolve them with a phone call, a gathering, or sometimes only a text message.

Leakes claims that when she contacted her via text message, Williams told her that the reason he didn’t wish to work with her was because she hadn’t checked on her after the divorce news.

“Are you serious? You and your husband were just happy and smiling in Dubai,” the influencer replied, referring to the proven fact that Williams and Guobadia were abroad with the couple for just a few days before she filed for divorce on February 23.

“I believed you two had a fight and perhaps you’d get back together. I do not find out about your personal matters. I don’t desire to be nosy,” Leakes added.

Fans got in on the motion comments about their friendship, problems and leaks to maintain every thing real.

“That’s what happens to people who have problems with you and you don’t know it,” one person said.

Another wrote, “Say what you want about Nene, she always had Porsha back, even if Porsha was wrong, this is such a mess. A perfect example of when you think you’re cool all the time with people who don’t really like you and are stabbing you behind your back. Sad.”

Several people have suggested that this is an element of Williams’ “RHOA” season 16 return plot after leaving the show in 2021. One person sent“Why is this more interesting than the last 3 seasons of Atlanta.”

“See… Nene was minding her own business and then they poked the bear… better leave Nene alone,” one other comment read.

One comment called Williams “sneaky” and referenced her approach to leaving her husband.

User That’s it… and professionals get to share the highlight. Porsha will not be a star. She is brave. Be vivid!”

Porsha has not responded to Nene’s accusations.

An attempt to save the image of Jeff Bezos’ future wife backfired after weeks of outrage and ridicule over her skimpy outfit

Lauren Sánchez has apparently gained a popularity for her fashion hits and misses as social media users began following her every move.

Billionaire Jeff Bezos’ current fiancée stepped into the highlight long before she met the Amazon co-founder, after years spent as co-host of “Good Day LA,” a reporter for “Extra” and host of “So You Think You Can Dance,” and he even starred in a number of movies like “Ted 2.”

She faced criticism for posting a sultry selfie in November in a negligee-inspired gown by designer Laura Basca. In October, the 54-year-old again faced backlash when she showed off her latex Halloween costume as Catwoman.

Now, weeks after being deemed “cheap” and tasteless, the founder of Black Ops Aviation has turn out to be a subject of discussion.

On December 5, Sánchez and the business mogul attended The New York Times’ DealBook event in New York City. For the occasion, she wore a white Alexander McQueen suit and a white lace corset. The beaming bride-to-be sent two mirror selfies of her outfit, which she signed: “winter white.”

One follower particularly was stunned by the whole look he ejaculated that she was “very attractive and beautiful, gorgeous and stunning, charming and fantastic young lady, sexy, charming, charming and elegant” in the photos that Sánchez took.

Two other people swooned over the photos and wrote: “So chic and elegant!” and “You look great.” But as you would possibly expect from online viewers, not everyone was impressed.

When Page six published paparazzi photos from the trip, the critic commented: “It’s 30 degrees in New York and she gets out of the limo in a white Miami smock, her bra visible to everyone. No taste. Nothing. A cashmere turtleneck, flannel trousers and a wool jacket can be classy.

Someone else sharply asked: “Who can be the first to tell her that she looks tacky and not elegant and refined? Does she even know what sophistication means? A 3rd person noted: “She looks more like she’s wearing a bathrobe.”

Another person wrote in a comment from a licensed pilot: “White means…” possibly referring to rumors that Sánchez and Bezos are scheduled to exchange vows over Christmas. At least one person doubted the couple would have the opportunity to say “I do.” This person said: “This will be the longest engagement ever. They will NEVER get married and we all know why!!!!”

Sánchez told the “Today” show hosts that she was in the process of planning the big day last month. She didn’t comment on speculation about exchanging Christmas vows.

Renewed interest and scrutiny of Sánchez has increased as the pair have been spotted in various locations in recent months. The couple reportedly began dating in 2018. Their engagement was announced five years later, in May 2023. Their upcoming wedding can be a second journey for each of them.

Sánchez was previously married to celebrity agent Patric Whitesell, with whom she has two children. She can be the mother of a son, whom she shares with Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez. Bezos was married to the mother of his three children, Mackenzie Scott, for 25 years once they divorced in 2019.

Apart from the song with singer-songwriter India Shawn – Andscape

Published

India Shawn is a contemporary muse with a chilled nature, crafting love stories and heartfelt tales in smooth, charming songs. With over a decade of experience in the music industry as a singer-songwriter, Shawn has incredible strength. She was born in Los Angeles, and her musical roots reach throughout the country. Beginning her profession in her hometown, Shawn eventually found herself in Atlanta, where she immersed herself in the city’s deep-rooted R&B scene, further shaping her artistry.

“I transferred to ATL, I was in 10th grade, and that’s when my music journey really started,” Shawn told Andscape. “I met people who were trying to get by, so I ended up recording and learned what songwriting was really early on.”

Before releasing her debut EP in 2012, Shawn wrote songs and collaborated with artists similar to Chris Brown, El DeBarge, Keri Hilson and Monica. In 2013, she gained much more notoriety when Solange Knowles published her song “I’m Alive” on the Saint Heron compilationmarking her as an artist value watching.

Following the release of the single “There Must Be a God” from the Andscape soundtrack, she caught up with Shawn to learn more about the muse behind the vibes.

Singer India Shawn grew up singing in church with her family. “I feel like most of us R&B kids have that experience,” she said.

Airy, soft, telling a story, multidimensional, soft, mysterious, atmospheric

The oldest musical memory

Shawn’s soulful sound is deeply rooted in her upbringing, with influences drawn from her childhood memories and the musical culture of her church. “I sing with my sister all the time, and I also grew up singing behind my mom in church. She was the leader of praise and worship. So I feel like most of us R&B kids have that experience,” Shawn said. “I had these little solos in church, and I believe what made me consider in it was that after the service people got here as much as me with tears of their eyes and said, ‘You really moved me while you sang.’ “These early moments of connection with music and audiences laid the foundation for conveying depth and sensitivity through her music.

Influences

For Shawn, music, especially R&B, has all the time held a special place in her life. “Me and my sister are harmonizing in the living room, just picking some of our favorite songs, including for me Mariah Carey, Babyface, Boyz II Men and (and) Brandy,” she said of her early music memories.

Creative process

Shawn often draws inspiration from real-life experiences and relationships that influence her music. She weaves this into the authenticity and atmosphere of her songs, but she didn’t immediately recognize where her inspiration got here from. “It’s funny that it took me so long to make that connection, but I realized that I was telling my whole story and presenting my business through my music,” she said. “It took me two albums to realize, wait a minute, I’m giving people a lot to understand here… these aren’t just songs. This is truly the life I live.”

Challenges and development

As Shawn’s profession grows, so do his moments of appreciation and reflection. “I literally just thought about a very gradual progression of my career. It’s like step by step, but there are more breakthrough moments. My first tour, which was so beautiful, I just knew I could pack a room and people knew my lyrics and sang my songs to me. Those moments that make the waiting not in vain.”

Shawn has plenty of recommendation for up-and-coming singer-songwriters. Her biggest sacrifice? Collaboration is essential. “I think (cooperation) is really why I’m still here. So find your people… you’ll know when it feels right, you’ll have that freedom and fluidity, and you’ll be able to really create things and create without having to think too much.” He also shares the importance of patience. “Just be patient during the journey. This has been a theme throughout my profession. Let it develop. I feel like more things come from being in that flow and being present reasonably than forcing all of it.

Current project

There should be a God”, the lead single from Andscape , now streaming on Hulu, also serves as a teaser for Shawn’s solo album. “(This song) is such a manifestation of God’s love,” she said. “I think when you find yourself in a place of waiting, you can feel very hopeless. So when you see glimpses of God’s love again, or the fact that you know there is a higher power, there is a source that is thinking about you, has you in mind, has a perfect plan for you, it’s just like the clouds parting. And this is the moment, I understand. I understand that I had to go through all this to get here. And that’s exactly what I felt in the studio that day.”

Sheila Matthews is a digital producer at Andscape and a proud HBCU graduate. She believes “Return of the Mack” must have won a Grammy, and her Twitter mentions are open to all debate.
