Best Sneakers Worn at the 2024 NBA All-Star Game – Andscape
NBA All-Star Weekend 2024 is already behind us. While fans and commentators proceed to debate over the weekend, the sneakers on display are undisputed. Sneakerheads were surprised by a mixture of recent colorways, family-inspired kicks, just a few retro kicks, and even first-edition debuts from a few of the NBA’s biggest stars.
It’s not only the players who’re in the highlight during this event; shoe firms at all times use the All-Star Game as a runway moment. While on-court models might not be as popular as they once were, the basketball category stays a key segment for innovation and the debut of cutting-edge footwear technology. The All-Star Game is an event where all the attention is targeted on a single game and the stars that make the sport what it’s. Just as necessary as which conference wins is what shoes these stars wear.
Here are a few of the best shoes seen in Indianapolis.
Kevin Durant – Nike KD 4 ‘Galaxy’ and Nike KD 16 “All-Star”
Kevin Durant arrived at All-Star Weekend in a previously announced retro look and a fresh colorway of the Nike KD 16 to commemorate the weekend. The latest Nike KD 16 “All-Star” is the ninth colorway of his latest signature model. However, the real star of the evening were the Nike KD 4 “Galaxy” shoes. The sight of Durant’s retro look brought back memories of 2012, when he wore the shoe during the All-Star Game and won MVP.

Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero made his All-Star debut with some special Jordans to have a good time the occasion. The better of the bunch was the cool electric Air Jordan 38 Low PE in electric green, inspired by his hometown of Seattle and his mother Rhonda Smith-Banchero, who played professionally for the Seattle Reign in the American Basketball League, the short-lived predecessor to the WNBA.
Devin Booker – Nike Book 1 “Mirage”

The first release of Devin Booker’s first signature shoe – Book 1, it was a bit bumpy. Still, Nike worked time beyond regulation to reset the narrative. A brand new “Mirage” colorway was released over the weekend, and Booker, spoke to the media in Indianapolis, said the brand told him the sail-coloured shoe sold out in “two or three” minutes. There could also be brighter days ahead for the Phoenix Suns star.
Tyrese Maxey – New Balance Two Wxy V4 “Gamer Tag”

Tyrese Maxey celebrated his first All-Star Game appearance by wearing a vivid red version of the newly released New Balance Two Wxy V4 “Gamer Tag” shoes. The only 76-yr-old on the court because of Joel Embiid’s injury, Maxey scored 10 points, three rebounds and three assists in 17 minutes on the court. An even bigger moment for the Philadelphia defenseman could have happened off the court because Kevin Durant was on the list as one among the players inspiring the next generation of hoopers.
Nikola Jokic – 361 Big3 Future High PE

The two-time league MVP, Finals MVP and leader of the reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets recently left Nike to develop into the face of Chinese footwear brand 361°. While his signature shoe continues to be being developed, Jokic donned the cotton candy-coloured 361° Big3 Future version for Sunday’s big game, benefiting from the highlight to presented its latest logoa jester’s hat made from the letters “N” and “J”.

As the unofficial host of the weekend, Tyrese Haliburton deserved something special from Nike, which they did with a white Kobe 6 Protro with green accents. The Indiana Pacers guard rose to the occasion, scoring 32 points, including hitting his first five 3-point shots in the first quarter, and scoring 15 points in lower than 90 seconds. Quite a performance in front of the home crowd.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is one among the most stylish guys in the league. So it was only right that he went to court for a one-of-a-kind custom Converse by an artist and custom sneaker designer Darkphilknight. The loud, colourful knit concoction stood out as one among the more odd numbers seen on All-Star Sunday since Chris Webber wore chrome Dada CDubbz.
Damian Lillard – Adidas Dame 8 EXT PLY

Only two players in league history have won Saturday’s tournament and likewise been named All-Star Game MVP: Michael Jordan and Damian Lillard. Lillard won a 3-point contest on Saturday before dropping 39 points to steer the Eastern Conference to victory at Sunday’s All-Star Game. On Sunday, he presented a red and blue version of the Adidas Dame 8 EXTPLY shoes Custom stadium kickstogether with the names of his three children etched along the ankle collar and the word “Dame Time” on the forefoot straps.
Adidas also took advantage of the weekend to supply Dame 9 preview and it looks sharp. The Stripes rim design team is absolutely on their toes as of late.
Giannis Antetokounmpo – Nike Zoom Freak 5 “Thanasis thanks for sharing”

The Milwaukee Bucks star paid tribute to the late Kobe Bryant and his brother and teammate Thanasis, multi functional shoe – the Nike Zoom Freak 5 “Thanasis Thanks for Sharing.” The shoe borrows its red and white color scheme from Bryant’s signature Nike Kobe 4s, which just so happened to be the shoes Thanasis would share together with his younger brother while they were growing up together in Greece.
Stephen Curry – Curry 4 Low FloTro “Dżem Curry”

Stephen Curry’s Curry 4 Low FloTro Sunday kicks were inspired by his 2018 All-Star PE, which he was originally scheduled to wear during the 3-Point Contest this yr. Unfortunately, he missed the event because of injury, but all was eventually cleared up as the updated 2024 version features UA FLOW cushioning technology.
The blue and yellow FloTro 4s were a part of the “Curry Jam” collection, an arcade-inspired set that also included Curry 1 Retro decorated with flame graphics and the slogan “He’s On Fire!” slogan.
Jaylen Brown – ANTA Kai 1 and the mystery model

Brown wore Kyrie Irving’s purple Ant shoes during the first half of the All-Star Game. But the real surprise was when he opted for all-black mystery shoes in the second half. Brown hasn’t been into sneakers for some time now, so could this be an indication of what is to come back?
LeBron James – Nike LeBron 21 “The First Year”

LeBron James continued to pay tribute to Hall of Fame defenseman Deion Sanders by wearing the Nike LeBron 21 “Prime Year” shoes. The shoe draws inspiration from Deion Sanders’ iconic Nike Air DT Max ’96 – originally referred to as the Diamond Turf 3. James has called Sanders one among his childhood heroes and has paid homage to Coach Prime shoes in the past, most recently with two Diamond Turf-themed versions of LeBron’s 15 in white and red.
Anthony Edwards – Adidas AE1 ‘Future’

The best latest signature sneaker this season belongs to Anthony Edwards, and the metallic shades of “The Future” colorway of the Adidas AE1 shoes he wore on Sunday night looked gorgeous in the vivid lights. Adidas currently offers three of the three colorways available for this model, and there is no sign of them slowing down any time soon.

An attempt to save the image of Jeff Bezos’ future wife backfired after weeks of outrage and ridicule over her skimpy outfit
Lauren Sánchez has apparently gained a popularity for her fashion hits and misses as social media users began following her every move.
Billionaire Jeff Bezos’ current fiancée stepped into the highlight long before she met the Amazon co-founder, after years spent as co-host of “Good Day LA,” a reporter for “Extra” and host of “So You Think You Can Dance,” and he even starred in a number of movies like “Ted 2.”
She faced criticism for posting a sultry selfie in November in a negligee-inspired gown by designer Laura Basca. In October, the 54-year-old again faced backlash when she showed off her latex Halloween costume as Catwoman.
Now, weeks after being deemed “cheap” and tasteless, the founder of Black Ops Aviation has turn out to be a subject of discussion.
On December 5, Sánchez and the business mogul attended The New York Times’ DealBook event in New York City. For the occasion, she wore a white Alexander McQueen suit and a white lace corset. The beaming bride-to-be sent two mirror selfies of her outfit, which she signed: “winter white.”
One follower particularly was stunned by the whole look he ejaculated that she was “very attractive and beautiful, gorgeous and stunning, charming and fantastic young lady, sexy, charming, charming and elegant” in the photos that Sánchez took.
Two other people swooned over the photos and wrote: “So chic and elegant!” and “You look great.” But as you would possibly expect from online viewers, not everyone was impressed.

When Page six published paparazzi photos from the trip, the critic commented: “It’s 30 degrees in New York and she gets out of the limo in a white Miami smock, her bra visible to everyone. No taste. Nothing. A cashmere turtleneck, flannel trousers and a wool jacket can be classy.
Someone else sharply asked: “Who can be the first to tell her that she looks tacky and not elegant and refined? Does she even know what sophistication means? A 3rd person noted: “She looks more like she’s wearing a bathrobe.”

Another person wrote in a comment from a licensed pilot: “White means…” possibly referring to rumors that Sánchez and Bezos are scheduled to exchange vows over Christmas. At least one person doubted the couple would have the opportunity to say “I do.” This person said: “This will be the longest engagement ever. They will NEVER get married and we all know why!!!!”
Sánchez told the “Today” show hosts that she was in the process of planning the big day last month. She didn’t comment on speculation about exchanging Christmas vows.
Renewed interest and scrutiny of Sánchez has increased as the pair have been spotted in various locations in recent months. The couple reportedly began dating in 2018. Their engagement was announced five years later, in May 2023. Their upcoming wedding can be a second journey for each of them.
Sánchez was previously married to celebrity agent Patric Whitesell, with whom she has two children. She can be the mother of a son, whom she shares with Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez. Bezos was married to the mother of his three children, Mackenzie Scott, for 25 years once they divorced in 2019.

Apart from the song with singer-songwriter India Shawn – Andscape
India Shawn is a contemporary muse with a chilled nature, crafting love stories and heartfelt tales in smooth, charming songs. With over a decade of experience in the music industry as a singer-songwriter, Shawn has incredible strength. She was born in Los Angeles, and her musical roots reach throughout the country. Beginning her profession in her hometown, Shawn eventually found herself in Atlanta, where she immersed herself in the city’s deep-rooted R&B scene, further shaping her artistry.
“I transferred to ATL, I was in 10th grade, and that’s when my music journey really started,” Shawn told Andscape. “I met people who were trying to get by, so I ended up recording and learned what songwriting was really early on.”
Before releasing her debut EP in 2012, Shawn wrote songs and collaborated with artists similar to Chris Brown, El DeBarge, Keri Hilson and Monica. In 2013, she gained much more notoriety when Solange Knowles published her song “I’m Alive” on the Saint Heron compilationmarking her as an artist value watching.
Following the release of the single “There Must Be a God” from the Andscape soundtrack, she caught up with Shawn to learn more about the muse behind the vibes.

Airy, soft, telling a story, multidimensional, soft, mysterious, atmospheric
The oldest musical memory
Shawn’s soulful sound is deeply rooted in her upbringing, with influences drawn from her childhood memories and the musical culture of her church. “I sing with my sister all the time, and I also grew up singing behind my mom in church. She was the leader of praise and worship. So I feel like most of us R&B kids have that experience,” Shawn said. “I had these little solos in church, and I believe what made me consider in it was that after the service people got here as much as me with tears of their eyes and said, ‘You really moved me while you sang.’ “These early moments of connection with music and audiences laid the foundation for conveying depth and sensitivity through her music.
Influences
For Shawn, music, especially R&B, has all the time held a special place in her life. “Me and my sister are harmonizing in the living room, just picking some of our favorite songs, including for me Mariah Carey, Babyface, Boyz II Men and (and) Brandy,” she said of her early music memories.
Creative process
Shawn often draws inspiration from real-life experiences and relationships that influence her music. She weaves this into the authenticity and atmosphere of her songs, but she didn’t immediately recognize where her inspiration got here from. “It’s funny that it took me so long to make that connection, but I realized that I was telling my whole story and presenting my business through my music,” she said. “It took me two albums to realize, wait a minute, I’m giving people a lot to understand here… these aren’t just songs. This is truly the life I live.”
Challenges and development
As Shawn’s profession grows, so do his moments of appreciation and reflection. “I literally just thought about a very gradual progression of my career. It’s like step by step, but there are more breakthrough moments. My first tour, which was so beautiful, I just knew I could pack a room and people knew my lyrics and sang my songs to me. Those moments that make the waiting not in vain.”
Shawn has plenty of recommendation for up-and-coming singer-songwriters. Her biggest sacrifice? Collaboration is essential. “I think (cooperation) is really why I’m still here. So find your people… you’ll know when it feels right, you’ll have that freedom and fluidity, and you’ll be able to really create things and create without having to think too much.” He also shares the importance of patience. “Just be patient during the journey. This has been a theme throughout my profession. Let it develop. I feel like more things come from being in that flow and being present reasonably than forcing all of it.
Current project
“There should be a God”, the lead single from Andscape , now streaming on Hulu, also serves as a teaser for Shawn’s solo album. “(This song) is such a manifestation of God’s love,” she said. “I think when you find yourself in a place of waiting, you can feel very hopeless. So when you see glimpses of God’s love again, or the fact that you know there is a higher power, there is a source that is thinking about you, has you in mind, has a perfect plan for you, it’s just like the clouds parting. And this is the moment, I understand. I understand that I had to go through all this to get here. And that’s exactly what I felt in the studio that day.”
