Angelina Jolie’s rare night out with son Knox overshadowed by concerns over actress’ surprising new look
Angelina Jolie is back within the highlight for her family romance ahead of her new film Maria, which hits theaters this month.
For the primary time in three years, the actress hit the red carpet with her son, Knox Jolie-Pitt, as a further attendee on the fifteenth annual Governors Awards presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on November 17.
The 16-year-old teenager is the dual of sister Vivienne and the younger brother of 18-year-old sister Shiloh Jolie. Angelina shares three biological children with ex Brad Pitt. The former couple has been going through a six-year divorce and are also parents to adopted sons Maddox and Pax and daughter Zahara.
Knox was last photographed on the red carpet when he appeared with his 4 siblings and mother on the 2021 premiere of “Eternals” in London. For the ultimate occasion, he wore a standard black tuxedo, white button-down and black dress shoes.
This rare occurrence got here as a shock to fans, who commented: “What a handsome young man!” and “He’s a beautiful boy. This is what happens when your mom and dad are beautiful people,” in a photograph of the mother-son duo shared by E! What’s new on Instagram.
But reactions slowly turned complimentary when Angelina, who some described as looking like “corpse” became the topic of criticism.
The stunning actress ditched her suits and dark wardrobe during her promotional tour to wear a champagne-gold gown from The Knit Vintage boutique. An easy and loose outfit inspired by the boho style was combined with brown platform high heels, rings, a large necklace and dangling earrings.

Jolie’s decision to be photographed bare-shouldered comes weeks after fans expressed concern concerning the large protruding veins that were spotted when she appeared on the 81st Venice International Film Festival on August 29.
A viewer asked: “Oh my God, she doesn’t look so good and those veins are popping out like that! Is she okay?”
However, in the course of the awards ceremony, her arms looked smooth. Still, hecklers found loads of stuff criticizeasking, “Poor girl, what happened to her?” Someone else wrote: “Am I the only one who thinks she looks shiny and unhealthy?”
Many people agreed that “Tomb Raider” suddenly “aged quickly” and looked “miserable.”
Another Instagram user said: “She is so pale.” A final viewer who was unimpressed commented critically: “It looks like straight bones. I don’t understand why everyone wants to be so thin. Skin and bones are not pretty.”
Appearances aside, one area that Angelina receives praise is the “Maria” screenplays. In director Pablo Larraín’s film, she plays the true opera singer Maria Callas. Critical approval for Callas’ recent reimagining earned the actress an Oscar nomination. The film will hit theaters on November 27 and on Netflix from December 11.
