Charlamagne Tha God calls out people who expressed their support for Kamala Harris but “went to the booth” to vote for Donald Trump
“The Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne Tha God had so much to say about the election of Republican Party candidate Donald Trump for a second term as president of the United States.
On Tuesday, November 5, Trump defeated Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race by winning at the least 276 Electoral College votes.
The MAGA leader also secured greater than 73 million votes in the national popular vote, but his Election Day victory shocked some voters and political experts.
Charlamagne Tha God, a Harris supporter, had a message for some Americans who decided to vote for Trump as the next president.
The South Carolinian continued: “Many of you lied in these polls and many of you lied to people’s faces.”
Charlamagne also shared a clip of his thoughts on the 2024 election on his Instagram page, where his comments section was stuffed with reactions to what he had to say about the presidential result.
“Please give America a donkey of the day!” – wrote one commenter, referring to a fraction of Charlamagne’s “Donkey of the Day”, wherein he points out silly moments and people.
One person took aim at the Power 105.1-based show, writing: “That’s a tough pill for Charlemagne to swallow… I don’t even know why the Breakfast Club got involved in politics in the first place.”
A 3rd person said: “Harris was not the answer and I blame the Democratic Party for that. They shoved an incompetent, unsympathetic candidate down our throats.”
In contrast, a Trump critic wrote: “So no one will talk about how a criminal got the top job in the country, but a normal criminal can’t work at Walmart.”
On May 30, Trump became the first former US president to be convicted of a criminal offense after he was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying trade records in New York.
A six-week state trial ended with Trump being convicted of concealing advantages for adult movies actress Stormy Daniels to prevent a sex scandal from breaking out during the successful 2016 presidential campaign.
As Trump prepares to return to the White House, the former “The Apprentice” host still has a state case on his hands in Georgia, in addition to two other federal cases in Washington and Florida.
AND a criminal conviction and more outstanding legal issues didn’t stop the majority of American voters from voting for Donald Trump. He performed higher than nationwide polls before the election.
The president-elect delivered his victory speech around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday before the results were officially announced. He promised to create a “strong, secure and prosperous” country and declared that his presidency could be “America’s golden age.”
Charlamagne Tha God also interviewed Vice President of… “We, the people, City Hall” in October in swing state Michigan.
In addition to Charlamagne’s sharp remarks, 70-year-old MSNBC analyst Al Sharpton commented on “Morning Joe” on Wednesday about the election of Donald Trump.
“Let’s remember that Donald Trump is an expert promoter and he managed to debunk a lot of myths that weren’t actually true, but it wasn’t promoted well on the other side” – Sharpton expressed.
The 2004 Democratic presidential nominee added: “We also need to address problems with race and gender. There was a number of gender bias involved. There was a number of racial prejudice involved. “I think we thought a lot of voters were more progressive in these areas than they actually were.”
