Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend puts the brakes on his proposal until she stops running to ex-husband Ben Affleck, state reports

Actress Jennifer Garner is making it some extent to support her ex-husband Ben Affleck during his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, but latest reports say it could drive a wedge into her current relationship.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez officially announced their split on August 20, after marrying in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022.

In the months leading up to his split from Lopez, Affleck began spending increasingly time with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with whom he has three children: Violet Anne, 18, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel. 12.

Garner and Affleck met on the set of “Pearl Harbor” in 2000, and by 2004 their friendship had turned romantic. They began dating, and in April 2005, Affleck proposed. Two months later, they married and stayed together for ten years before announcing their divorce in June 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2018.

Earlier this month, after one other heartbreak, Affleck was accused of cuddling with his ex-wife Garner. While the couple maintains a healthy co-parenting relationship for his or her children, and Garner has been Affleck’s “rock” throughout his separation, latest reports speculate that something more complicated goes on.

According to RadarOnlineGarner’s current boyfriend, businessman John Miller, is not too thrilled that Garner and Affleck have rekindled their closeness following the latter’s recent divorce drama. The alleged tipster tells the outlet, “John’s argument is that Ben is an adult and should understand this without affecting their lives.”

According to a source, John feels uncomfortable with Garner all the time “running on Ben’s side,” but the “13 Going on 30” actress feels answerable for her ex.

“Jen feels a sense of responsibility towards Ben,” the source said. “But John wants to marry her and he thinks there should only be two people in a marriage, not three.”

John Miller serves as president of technology company CaliGroup and CEO of CaliGroup’s portfolio company, PopID. Garner began dating the 46-year-old businessman in 2018, shortly after her divorce from Affleck was finalized. The couple, who keep their relationship relatively private, briefly split in 2020 before rekindling their romance shortly in 2021.

“They took a long break from dating, but Jen is very happy to be back together,” the source said revealed to People in February 2023.

Miller has two children with his ex-wife, violinist Caroline Campbell, to whom he was married from 2005 to 2011.
