In the trailer, Stewart issues a warning saying“Young women, take my advice. If you’re married and your husband starts cheating on you, he’s a piece of shit. Get out of this marriage.”

The interviewer sarcastically asked Stewart, “Haven’t you had an affair before?”

“Yes, but I don’t think Andy will ever find out,” she said, quickly sidestepping the query without revealing who her lover was.

Stewart married Andrew Stewart in 1961 after only a 12 months of dating. They met after friends set them up on a blind date. During their marriage, they bonded by doing home renovations of their free time and even welcomed one child together, their daughter Alexis Stewart.

Unfortunately, their marriage couldn’t work out and in 1987 they were separated.

“I bet it was with a black man!” one person he wrote on X. Another who joked that she cheated with her former co-host he said“Snoop Dogg would have been around 20 years old at the time…”

Others blamed her for revealing the key many years later.

One person said, “Why would she humiliate her husband like that? Just shameful” Another wrote: “Dude. It’s brutal. She should have kept that shit to herself after all this years

The breakup was clearly not an amicable one. According to People, Andy moved out and even filed paperwork that prohibited his soon-to-be ex-wife from talking to him. In 1990, their divorce was finalized. But apparently the tip of his relationship with Marta had an impact on his relationship together with his daughter Alexis. So much so that they grew apart.

Alexis he said New York Magazine in 2008: “He was a dick in some ways. Monetarily. Emotionally. And he was terrifying to me. He’s just terrifying.” But Andy told the identical magazine that he couldn’t understand why Alexis was mad at him.

“I was trying to figure it out. I left her mother. It was very difficult. Many months passed before I finally managed to leave. We were married for a long time. I think Lexi felt like I abandoned her. I certainly didn’t feel that way. I love her very much. I don’t have any problems getting along with my kids, except for her. I know her mother suffered when I left her. I was hurt too. I think she felt sorry for her mother and I can understand that.”

Andy said he couldn’t even bring himself to look at his daughter’s show, Whatever, Martha.

“In the few things I saw, I saw that anger in Lexi that I also saw in Marta,” he said. “It makes me nervous. I guess I avoid it.”

Martha’s former business partner, Norma Collier, looked as if it would confirm Andy’s claim that he had experienced Martha’s wrath. She he said People: “Andy loved Martha very much, but he was always disrespected or criticized by her.”

Andy began dating and married Marta’s young assistant, and when that led to divorce, in 2016 he married Fieldstone Publishing president and CEO Shyla Stewart. The couple welcomed five children together, and although he is retired, Andy is currently listed as Emiritus’ publisher on Shyla.

As for Marta, reports say she was initially devastated by the tip of her marriage to Andy, but she now seems to have come to terms with it and is “very happy” with the consequence.

“I could have just been an unhappy former housewife,” she said at the tip of the trailer. “But I didn’t let something like that happen to me and I’m very happy I didn’t.”

After divorcing Andy, Marta never remarried or had every other children.

The documentary “Marta” will air on October 30 on Netflix.
