Snoop Dogg Drops Marriage Bombshell Amid Wife Shante’s Cryptic Post About Begging For ‘What You Can Get Elsewhere’

After 27 years of marriage, Snoop Dogg is confident that nothing will come between him and his wife, Shante “Boss Lady” Broadus. But the couple couldn’t have an even bigger difference of their views on long-term love.

For the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper, his wife has been the most effective a part of the last three a long time of his life.

He then gushed about his spouse. “My wife, Shante, she gets me. She’s a great mother. A great grandmother. A great wife. A great friend, and she knows how to push all my buttons to make me act like a dumb motherfucker or to make me act like a cool person, and I love that,” he said.

The academic lovers tied the knot in 1997 and have sons Cordell and Cordai and a daughter Cori. Snoop can also be the daddy of a son named Julian, whom he welcomed in June 1998 with Laurie Helmond — a yr after marrying Shante.

“Snoop’s outsider kid,” as many call Julian, rarely sees the West Coast rap icon; nonetheless, he was present with the remaining of his siblings and Shante when his dad received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018.

The Death Row Records CEO has an infamous past of extramarital affairs. He made headlines prior to now for rumors of his irregular romance with Instagram model Celina Powell, which was criticized on social media.

There are things I want you to be a part of, there are things I don’t want you to be a part of, to protect you.” But not knowing that she must be there for me on a regular basis, to guard me,” Snoop told People magazine. He later admitted that he makes “bad decisions,” but “the good thing about me is she.”

The “Gin & Juice” rapper gushed over his longtime love for helping him understand patience, the worth of family and never making excuses.

“How can I stay married this long? I have a strong wife with a strong backbone and a good heart — she loves and cares, and we’re meant to be together,” Snoop said of Shante. “When we said we were going to get married, we were married ’til death do us part. Isn’t that what it sounds like? Not ’til death do us part, not ’til death do us part, not ’til death do us part.”

However, hours after his September 13 interview with People magazine began circulating, Shante shared message her own. Her cryptic “Boss Lady approved” meme was: “Never ask someone for what you can get somewhere else without asking.”

As is her custom, she didn’t provide any context for the message or explain whether it was a lesson she learned during her marriage to the Long Beach native.

Still, it resonated along with her fans. One fan commented, “I accept this message.” Another said, “When you see your worth, that’s when the begging stops!” In the past, her posts, that are most frequently seen as signs of marital turmoil, have been misinterpreted because the ultra-private businesswoman publicly coping with heartache.

Shante rarely accepts interview requests and avoids discussing private topics, so her true feelings about Snoop’s antics remain unknown.

However, the “Doggystyle” emcee admitted throughout the ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame that there have been times when he felt it will be best if he was single.

He revealed that The Gap Band singer Charlie Wilson advised him to “not mess up a good thing. Go home. You’ve got the most wonderful woman in the world. You’ve got a family.”
