Actor Jonathan Majors’ profession has taken a dramatic turn following his recent legal troubles related to domestic violence. Once on the fast track to superstardom, the previous Marvel star, who was charged and convicted of harassment and third-degree reckless assault, has seen his life, profession and funds collapse.

The legal fallout caused Majors to lose opportunities he had worked his whole life for, including a starring role in Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated Avengers: Kang Dynasty that would have earned him hundreds of thousands.

Now, in stark contrast to his previous glory, the Majors are appearing at smaller events similar to Festival of Famous Monsters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, where fans can meet him at Valley Forge Casino Resort.

Promotional film of the event, published on Instagram, stated, “Jonathan Majors makes his FIRST appearance at the convention! Kang, err… King of Prussia, PA September 14th and 15th is your chance to meet the star of Loki, Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Creed III, Lovecraft Country and many more!”

The caption under the post ended with the words: “A limited number of tickets for the photo session and autograph opportunity are now on sale…”

Fans will reportedly need to pay $140 for Majors’ autograph and $160 for an expert photo with him.

Many people Withwrung after The Shade Room shared the news on Instagram. Many imagine that he have to be really struggling financially to live and pay his legal bills. Still others pointed to his famous girlfriend, Meagan Good, as the one that is footing the bill for his upkeep.

Someone joked, “Oh, he needs money, money!”

“Someone has to pay these bills and it won’t be Marvel,” wrote one other.

The mockery didn’t end there.

“EVEN MARTIN LUTHER KING HASN’T BEEN CHARGED.. ARE YOU GOOD?” one user noted.

Recalling Majors’ legal battles that reportedly left him defunded, one commenter noted, “Lawyer fees aren’t cheap,” while one other added, “Lawyer fees are rising.”

Fans also commented on his relationship with actress Meagan Good, speculating about her financial support for Majors during this difficult time.

“I would do this if my woman had to pay for my alimony until I got back on my feet,” one fan wrote.

Another added: “Megan is tired of paying for everything.”

While some fans made fun of the situation, others were more understanding.

“ZERO judgment. He’s definitely facing financial challenges after dealing with all the legal issues and subsequent blacklisting. So if his fans are willing to show their support in this way, good for him,” one user wrote.

Before these legal issues, Majors seemed destined for stardom within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was praised for his role as Kang the Conqueror in 2023’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and reportedly had a $20 million contract for “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” and “Avengers: Secret Wars.”

However, in December 2023, Marvel cut ties with Majors and shelved the project entirely.

Despite his public fall from grace, Majors is not completely unemployed.

His IMDb profile lists an upcoming role in “Merciless,” a thriller a couple of CIA interrogator who comes nose to nose with a sinister force. The film, directed by Martin Villeneuve, is currently in pre-production, offering the “Creed III” star a possible probability to rebuild his profession.
