The school 12 months is starting! In this episode of Life Hacks with Liana, Tamara Poole, Associate Vice President of Curriculum and Academics at Arizona College of Nursing, joins Life Hacks with Liana to share health and hygiene suggestions for kids heading back to high school.

Poole shared a couple of tricks to take into account when establishing a bedtime ritual.

“It’s important for them to have a standard routine when it comes to getting them ready for sleep, and not just, ‘Hey, go to bed,’” Poole continued. “So things like yoga or listening to music, maybe even reading a book, those types of things that reduce the stimuli in the room and prepare the mind for sleep, as opposed to using technology or things with blue light, which don’t increase melatonin production, so it’s not going to induce sleep.”
