Wendy Williams left the home for the first time in over a year.

The former talk show host was spotted with her son, Kevin Hunter Jr. — whom she has with ex-husband Kevin Hunter — on the Bolingo Balance in Newark, New Jersey on Monday, August 19, in response to Page Sixwho were the first to report the news. The visit was Williams’ first public appearance since March 2023, People reported.

A Bolingo Balance worker told Page Six that Williams was “bright, upbeat and aware” and “very cheerful” during her visit to the holistic shop, which is owned by Alfredo “Dr. Sebi” Bowman’s son, Victor Bowman. The worker added that Williams was “engaging, but she wasn’t as familiar with what we do here, so her son was more explaining things.”

“She talked about improving circulation, but didn’t want to go into too much detail during their first meeting and didn’t want to make plans to return in the near future,” the worker said, in response to Page Six.

The store’s official Instagram shared a photo of a smiling Williams with a shopping bag in her hand and her arm wrapped around Bowman. “Much love to Wendy Williams and her son @topfloor_kev I remember when I met Kevin in Usha village, my dad told me I wanted you to meet Wendy’s son. At the time we were the only people the same age in Usha,” the caption read.

Williams’ son responded in the comments section with a series of emojis, including a chart and a clapping hand emoji.

Bowman shared the identical photo of himself and Williams on his Facebook page, writing, “Wendy Williams come to my store I love you Queen.”
