‘Get the f**k out of here’: Jay-Z fan gives Cam Newton a death glare after mistaking NFL star for music mogul

Cam Newton was apparently the victim of a mix-up recently. He didn’t take it calmly when someone apparently confused him with Jay-Z.

On July 4, controversial NFL news aggregator Dov Kleiman shared a video of a fan who believed he was greeting the Roc Nation CEO and music mogul.

“Jay-Z, brother… Jay-Z, brother… Jay-Z,” a fan will be heard saying as he approaches Newton and his entourage.

Newton, nonetheless, was not blissful with this case and quickly expressed his dissatisfaction to the fans.

“Stop playing with me,” he replied.

“Funky Friday Podcast“the host gave the man a look that seemed to be murderous, then apparently told him to “get the f… off” and walked away.

Some fans claimed the man featured in the viral video did nothing unsuitable and was merely trolling the former NFL MVP.

“He didn’t confuse him with Jay Z, he was just trolling Cam Newton. These are the types of videos where he jokingly ‘confuses’ celebrities with other celebrities,” one person said he wrote on X

Another fan agreed saying“I’m pretty sure it was trolling.”

“Cam is 6’5″ and weighs 240 kilos… Jay-Z doesn’t…” someone pointed out. Jay-Z has apparently He is 188 cm tall and weighs lower than 88 kg.

Others noted that Newton may not have liked the man getting so near him.

“I think he’s not happy about the camera being just inches from his face. That would piss anyone off,” the social media user wrote he wrote.

Jay-Z is one of the most well-known figures in the music world, which makes it harder to grasp the reasons behind this.
