Former NBA player Kevin Johnson has officially brought Fixins Soul Kitchen to Detroit. The skilled athlete and former Sacramento mayor recently opened a Motor City location for his soul food restaurant chain.

Johnson held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 23 to have fun the opening of the brand new restaurant, positioned in Detroit’s Paradise Valley.
