Janet Jackson Announces New Las Vegas Residency: ‘I Really Can’t Wait!’

Janet Jackson is heading to Sin City.

The music legend announced Wednesday that she’s going to begin a Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Theatre. The “Janet Jackson: Las Vegas” residency will kick off Dec. 30 and can include a New Year’s Eve show.

Jackson took to Instagram shared the news, telling fans, “We are so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas to kick off the week of New Year’s! It’s going to be so much fun and I can’t wait to ring in the New Year with you!!”

“We really can’t wait! Sending you lots of love ♥️ -J,” she wrote alongside several photos of herself in a gold blazer and sunglasses.

The residency will feature eight additional shows in 2025 through Valentine’s Day weekend. Tickets for all 10 shows can be available starting Wednesday, August 28 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time AXS.

Bobby Reynolds, senior vp of AEG Presents Las Vegas, raved about Jackson in a press release to The Las Vegas Diversitysaying the “Control” singer “is without a doubt one of the biggest names in pop music.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to close out 2024 with her return to the Las Vegas Strip, debuting at our award-winning Resorts World Theatre, and kick off 2025 with a series of unforgettable shows,” he added. “This is a residency fans won’t want to miss.”
