Serena Williams seemingly defends husband Alexis Ohanian weeks after fan accuses Reddit co-founder of living off her money and divorce rumors

When the media tried to portray Alexis Ohanian because the person holding his wife Serena Williams’ umbrella through the Paris Olympics, he resorted to creating a joke as a substitute of reminding folks that he made tens of millions as a recent college graduate years before meeting the sports icon.

The loving father of the couple’s two daughters, Olympia and Adira, even managed to thwart an try to insult the Reddit co-founder by rapper Drake, who, after being reduced to a groupie by Williams, decided to grow to be his fan.

Ohanian responded to the insult on his 2022 track “Middle of the Ocean,” writing on Twitter, “The reason I keep winning is because I constantly strive to be the absolute best at what I do — and that includes being my wife and daughter’s best groupie.”

Now, weeks after fans of the tennis phenom tried to accuse the entrepreneur of marrying Williams for financial gain, the tennis champion has announced to the world that her man is, in actual fact, taking the subsequent step in his quest to make money.

“Did you hear about that @athlos? @alexisohanian does it again. The biggest supporter and advocate for women’s sports now bringing in the biggest check for women’s track,” Williams wrote on Twitter together with an interview Ohanian recently gave to “CBS Mornings.”

His latest endeavor helps to lift awareness and funding for female track and field athletes on the upcoming Athlos Invitational, formerly generally known as the 776 Invitational.

The event will happen in New York City on September 26 and will feature top sprinters like Gabby Thomas and Alexis Holmes. Besides the goal, what sets this event other than other track and field competitions is the prizes, including $60,000 for the first-place winner and Tiffany’s crown.

One of reactions her post read, “You’ve become one of my favorite power couples.” Someone also he replied“YOUR MAN IS ONE OF MY GREATEST ALLIES.” While a 3rd chimed in: “Your man is worth a look, Ms. Serena.”

As Ohanian revealed in a Twitter post while in Paris, the enterprise capitalist can be giving athletes competing in Athlos $60,000 of his own money in the event that they win a gold medal on the 2024 Olympics. A complete of 36 women are scheduled to race in Athlos. Only nine have been announced to this point, and six of them won gold in Paris.

Some heckler tried to torpedo the message by claiming that its message was, “I’m going to use Serena’s money because I don’t have money for that kind of expense.”

Ohanian replied: “You created an entire Twitter account just to write something this stupid?”
