Tina Knowles to Pay Richard Lawson $300K in Divorce Settlement

Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson have settled their divorce greater than a 12 months after Knowles filed for separation.

According to legal documents obtained by the 70-year-old former stylist, who presented an agreement that covered all outstanding issues. In touch on Thursday, Aug. 15. Both Lawson and Knowles agreed that “irreconcilable differences have arisen between the parties which have led to the irretrievable breakdown of the marriage, rendering it impossible for the parties to live together as husband and wife,” the agreement says.

According to In Touch magazine, the mother of two was awarded “a 2018 Tesla, a 2020 Bentley, the Matriarch Book contract with Penguin Random House, a 1% interest in Kirby Beauty Management LLC, furniture and artwork owned by her, and all creative works, ideas, sketches and other materials created by Tina during the marriage.”

Knowles may even keep all of her jewelry, her retirement accounts, her homes in Los Angeles and Texas, all the furniture in her residences and all the income she has earned for the reason that date of her separation.

Lawson, meanwhile, was awarded “a 2021 Cadillac Escalade, multiple bank and retirement accounts, all monies owed to Richard Lawson Studios, any royalties earned, and all creative works he created during the relationship,” according to In Touch. He may even keep his art, jewelry, clothing, royalties, and all rights to his SAG-AFTRA retirement plan and his studio.

Each party will reportedly cover their very own bank card debt. Knowles agreed to pay all outstanding balances on all household expenses, while Lawson agreed to pay your entire debt related to the Cadillac.

The former couple agreed that neither side would receive alimony, but Knowles would pay Lawson a lump sum payment of $300,000. The settlement also features a non-disparagement clause that prohibits either party from speaking negatively in regards to the other, their children, their children’s spouses or their grandchildren.

“In keeping with the mutual desire to protect the privacy rights of all current and future grandchildren of each party, the parties agree that they will not discuss said grandchildren or future grandchildren, either verbally or in writing, at the request of any media or person,” the agreement reads, In Touch reports.

Knowles and Lawson married on April 12, 2015, in a marriage on a yacht attended by Knowles’ children, Beyoncé and Solange, Lawson’s children, Richard Lawson Jr. and Bianca Lawson, and Knowles’ son-in-law, Jay-Z, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and Samuel L. Jackson. The former couple separated eight years later, on July 25, 2023, with Knowles filing for divorce the next day.
