We’ve grow to be accustomed to seeing Vice President Kamala Harris in a variety of pantsuits designed by artists like Sergio Hudson, Carolina Herrara, Christopher John Rogers and Pyer Moss. She dresses the part, to place it bluntly. As her campaign for President of the United States officially begins, it’s not possible to disregard the importance of a black woman making it this far in history.

From becoming the primary Black and South Asian woman to grow to be vp to announcing her presidential campaign, each of those accomplishments are incredibly inspiring. It’s already been a busy week politically, and there is more to are available in the approaching weeks. Here’s to encouraging you to register to vote in case you have not already, to exercise your rights as a citizen. Even fashion and politics share space occasionally.

In the early 2000s, Vice President Harris didn’t at all times wear pants. Other sartorial moments caught our attention, too.
