Steve Harvey Called a ‘Cheater’ by Bernie Mac Fans for Shedding ‘Crocodile Tears’ After Comedian’s Jokes Are Stolen
Critics aren’t giving up on Steve Harvey, at the same time as many mourn the sixteenth anniversary of comedy giant Bernie Mac’s death. The two men are one half of the legendary “Original Kings of Comedy” act that also includes Cedric the Entertainer and DL Hughley.

After revealing that the artists’ alma mater, Chicago Vocations School, had been renamed in honor of the auditorium, Rhonda tearfully spoke of the love she still has for her hometown and Mac’s fans. Harvey’s eyes full of tears and he began to sniffle, clenching his fist tightly in front of his mouth, while she tried to stay calm, expressing gratitude to those that remembered the actor.
Before issuing a proclamation declaring November 14th Bernie Mac Day in Chicago, Harvey hung his head low, covered his eyes, and wiped away what some observers now call “crocodile tears.” To some, his perception of his emotions now seems off, and the tears he shed were tears of “pure guilt for his vile, two-faced treatment of Bernie.”

“When Katt said what he said, it was different,” we read within the article. comment on YouTube. Another critic said, “Steve pretended to cry crocodile tears. He hated Bernie and was secretly glad he was gone. Shame on you Steve and all the fake enemies in the world.” A 3rd person re-analyzing the segment wrote, “Steve is literally the definition of , missing someone when they’re gone. He hated Bernie, he’s a fraud, . Steve was fake, Bernie was real.”
Harvey and his fellow comedy kings attended a public memorial service for their peer in Chicago on August 16, 2008. The actor reminisced about traveling with Mac and presented the fallen star with flowers for being in a league of his own. Almost overcome with emotion, he spoke of Mac being “a family man, how he loved Rhonda and his kid, how he talked about them all the time,” his voice shaking as he appeared to hold back tears.
Again, his words were perceived as disingenuous by viewers who re-watched the speech. “Steve Harvey had absolutely no business being on that stage. He and Bernie weren’t even talking when he left,” the report reads. comment.
