Made by Google 2024: How to watch the Google Pixel 9 reveal, new foldable phone, and more

Google has been throughout consumer hardware in August. On Tuesday, the company announced the long-awaited new Nest Thermostat, together with the Google TV Streamer, which replaces the 11-year-old Chromecast line. Next Tuesday at Made by Google 2024, the software giant is refreshing its Pixel lineup with a spread of new smartphones.

Made by Google events have been held on the East Coast in October in previous years. This event is held at the company’s headquarters in Mountain View and starts at August thirteenth 10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST.

In addition to announcing new home devices and an update to Google Assistant, the company announced two new mobile devices: the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Fold. It also dispelled any doubts that its generative AI platform would take center stage with the tagline: “A (foldable) phone built for the Gemini era.”

We should see lots more of Android 15 at the event. The mobile OS should debut in the Pixel 9 line, together with an improved internal processor. Rumors also suggest that the latest version of the Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro might be released.
