Atlanta fans of Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks just got some great news. Owner of the beloved restaurant, Derrick Hayes, has announced a brand new location for his flagship location in town.

The latest location is near downtown Atlanta, amid the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Park. The latest restaurant, positioned inside walking distance of town’s stadiums, can have an outside patio, beer and wine options and approved parking. Hayes spoke about moving his flagship business to an area that may higher serve the Atlanta community.

“While it was devastating to say goodbye to our original flagship location, this new chapter for Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks is full of promise and excitement,” Hayes said in a press release obtained by BLACK ENTREPRENEURSHIP. The water fundamental break can have closed one door, but it surely opened one other, allowing us to create a fair higher experience for our loyal customers, the guts and soul of our business. I actually have been known to say, “When one door closes, Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks opens another location!”

A water fundamental break in town in June prevented Hayes from returning to its original Forsyth Street location. He announced the official closure on social media.

Despite the loss, Hayes assured fans of his Philly favorite that his time with the A’s is way from over. Big Dave’s will take over the previous Waffle House in the world, doubling the dimensions of its predecessor. He also said his latest enterprise on Marietta Street symbolizes his “resilience and growth” as an entrepreneur and Atlanta fixture.

He added, “Our new flagship restaurant, located at 300 Marietta St. NW, is more than just a place to eat; it is a symbol of resilience and growth. We can’t wait to welcome you all to our new home where we will continue to serve the community and create unforgettable memories together.”.”

In addition, Hayes continues to construct the Big Dave empire. He recently announced the opening of a brick-and-mortar store on the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. He celebrated the opening along with his family at an Atlanta United soccer game on July 17.

“I’m truly living the dream,” Hayes wrote in the caption.

With 10 years of success in the food industry, Hayes hopes to openin his latest edition this 12 months, Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks.
