Fans Double Their Amazement at Karlie Redd’s Unrecognizable Look in ’90s Flashbacks with Mimi Faust and Claudia Jordan’

A throwback photo of media personality Claudia Jordan with “Love & Hip Hop” stars Mimi Faust and Karlie Redd is making fans look twice.

On Saturday, July twenty seventh on the Instagram blog @BishGossip posted a photograph of the women hanging out at a club in the ’90s. While all the women look beautiful, fans in the comments were shocked to see how much Karlie Redd looks now in comparison with how she looked back then.

One person identified the elephant in the room: “Karlie tore her face off!! Mimi was always pretty and Claudia looks pretty too.”

Another follower commented: “Karlie should save face.”

“Man what Karlie did to her face oh my god,” one other commented, “She was incredibly beautiful.”

And someone was convinced that Redd wasn’t even in the photo. “Karlie wasn’t even trying to joke.”

While most comments focused on how Redd’s cosmetic surgery modified her appearance, a number of agreed that every one of the ladies looked “like they did in the ’90s.”

However, one rude commenter got here under fire after calling the trio “fools” on X.

“Even ’90s thots were humble,” they wrote, to which Jordan shot back: “THOTS? So fucking inaccurate and rude. We were young ladies figuring out our lives. Don’t do that.”

Jordan posted the unique photo on her website Instagram July 19, 2020 with the caption: “Guess who? Late 90’s. #1998.”

Her comments about Redd’s drastic change in appearance were a bit more sympathetic; they were more surprised that the ladies knew one another.

The actress and media personality told one commenter how she knew the 2 reality stars. “Mimi introduced me to her and I referred her to my old management rep. After that I didn’t see her for a looooong time. And now look at all of us? Mimi and I were roommates in LA for a year. Memories…”

Faust’s “OMG Throw back for Real” comment confirmed the blast from the past. Jordan jokingly replied, “@mimifaust girl yes!!! Before we knew about pigtails! Lol”

Despite the visible change in her facial expression, Redd has denied having undergone cosmetic surgery.

In a candid Live show from 2022, Redd addressed fans and asked if she had any work to do yet.

“Let’s be real. I got lip injections and Tim (her makeup artist) keeps bugging me, like, ‘Stop getting lip injections or whatever.’ So I’m going to stop because everybody keeps talking sh— about my face.” She continued, “This is all I have on my face. I haven’t had surgery, but I always have Tim do my makeup when my eyes are slanted. … That’s my thing; making my eyes look trashy.”

One thing that hasn’t modified through the years is Jordan and Faust’s friendship, which has spanned greater than 20 years. In a 2015 interview, N’Style AtlantaJordan revealed that she and Faust met 18 years earlier through mutual friends during a girls’ trip to Cancun.

They each joked that they were “connected by tragedies and triumphs.”

As they shared snippets of funny stories from their friendship, they began to wax sentimental about their long-standing friendship. “I look at Mimi and I’m like, ‘I’m so proud of my girl,’” Jordan said. She later added that despite all the truth TV they were experiencing at the time, she was “glad they had a real friendship that didn’t involve cameras.”

Faust then showed her friend love. “She’s the same since day one,” Faust said. “I would never have to worry about running into Claudia two years later and her giving me the cold shoulder.”
