Isabella Strahan is officially cancer-free and ‘all is well’

This week, Michael Strahan’s 19-year-old daughter, Isabella, said goodbye to the hospital after sharing positive news about her treatment. recent segment of her YouTube series Documenting her health history, Strahan announced that she is officially cancer-free.

“It was a great, great scan,” she said in a video after doctors reviewed her latest MRI. “Everything was clean. No cancer, and everything is fine. I don’t have another doctor’s appointment until October.”

Since publicly discussing her diagnosis, Isabella has been open about her battle with cancer, posting a series of vlogs on her YouTube channel. From doctor visits to chemotherapy treatments and sweet surprises, Isabella, who was treated at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina, has given fans a glimpse into the highs and lows of her journey.

“These last two months have been tough,” she said in her first vlog“It was a challenge and very difficult, but I know I can do it. I know that time will heal and everything will return to normal – I can’t say it’s normal because there’s no normal in my life now, but everything will return to normal.”

After months of treatment, Isabella and her family celebrated completing her final round of chemotherapy in June. Surrounded by cheers and balloons, the Strahan family was all smiles because the 19-year-old rang the hospital bell to mark the special milestone.

“@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN! I’m ringing the bell, finishing chemo and on my way!” Michael Strahan wrote Instagram video of his daughter ringing the bell. “You keep fighting with a smile on your face, strength and determination. I am a proud dad! Love you Bella.”

Despite the pain and discomfort experienced in the course of the surgical removal of her chemotherapy port, Isabella was still smiling at the tip of her “Goodbye Hospital” vlog.

“I already miss my doctors and everyone who helped me because they’re all so nice. I feel like I’m just sad knowing I won’t be back for a while because I love them so much. So this was my last vlog from the hospital until October,” she concluded the video, mentioning plans to potentially document her return to the University of Southern California.
