HBCU GO 2024 Football Season to Air on FOX Stations in Los Angeles, Chicago and More
Fans of Allen Media Group’s HBCU GO channel will now give you the option to watch the 2024 college football season on FOX channels.
The streaming platform announced Wednesday that it has expanded its nationwide distribution for the 2024-25 sports season. The expansion includes FOX-owned-and-operated stations in Los Angeles (KCOP-TV) and Chicago (WPWR-TV), in addition to distribution on the Armed Forces Network, according to a press release.
The expansion makes HBCU GO “available in more than 95% of U.S. television households,” according to the discharge. In addition to its previously announced cope with the duopoly CBS O&Os, HBCU GO has secured distribution with several other television stations in the group, including AMG Broadcasting, Sinclair, Gray, Tegna, Hearst, Nexstar and Scripps.
“It’s important to us to showcase these great athletes and incredible HBCUs — not only in their hometowns, but to sports fans around the world,” Allen added. This season, the HBCU streaming platform might be available in 15 latest television markets.
