Megan Thee Stallion
Megan Thee Stallion took the stage in Atlanta on Tuesday, showcasing her talents at the vice chairman’s first official rally Kamala Harris2024 presidential campaign.
Arriving at Georgia State University’s Convocation Center in a cropped royal blue pantsuit that mimicked Madam VP’s signature campaign style, the rap star opened her set with an edited rendition of her hit “Girls in the Hood” before, surrounded by dancers, breaking into her latest viral hit, “Mamushi.”
“Now I know the ladies in the audience love their bodies, and if you want to keep loving your bodies, you know who to vote for,” Megan declared between songs before launching into her platinum single “Body.”
Calling Ms. VP “our future president,” Megan performed her hit “Savage (Remix)” before leaving the stage to make way for Atlanta rap star Quavo.
Highlighting her work to combat gun violence, Quavo praised Vice President Harris for getting involved in the problem, addressing it head-on, and spending some of crucial gun safety laws so far.
“One of the things I love about working with Vice President Harris is she always keeps her word,” he said, to thunderous applause from the gang.
Tyler Green introduced the VP, spotlighting his work on climate issues, HBCU funding and other vital events, where she took the stage to Beyoncé’s “Freedom”
“I do know this sort and I’ve handled people like that [Donald Trump] my entire profession,” Harris said in response to chants of “lock him up!” from the gang. After listing a few of the crimes she has handled as a prosecutor, district attorney and attorney general, she compared them to Trump’s history of fraud and sexual violence.
“That’s why in this campaign I will proudly compare my record to his any day of the week,” she said.
Harris also noted that Trump recently pulled out of a previously agreed-upon debate on September 10. She noted that while he declined to debate her, each he and his vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance had “a lot to say” about it.
“As the saying goes, if you have something to say, say it to my face,” the vice chairman said, drawing thunderous applause from the gang.
