Actress Amanda Seales just isn’t giving freely any laurels to Vice President Kamala Harris, who’s looking for the Democratic nomination because the party’s candidate for president in 2024.

The former California attorney general has drawn support from President Joe Biden and others after announcing his decision to end his reelection campaign amid concerns about his perceived cognitive decline. While voters of all races and backgrounds have mobilized in the times since learning Harris will seek election as the primary Black and Asian female president, Seales has been outspoken and significant of the incumbent.

While the “insecure” actress doesn’t make her views obvious, they aren’t limited to Harris — she’s publicly admonished Donald Trump, the 2025 Project, and other political figures — her recent statements indicating her lack of support for the Democratic representative have only made her critics more contemptuous of Seales.

Excerpts from the artist’s July 26 remarks about Harris were widely shared, reigniting interest in her decision not to quickly endorse a political leader as former President Trump campaigns for a 3rd term and promotes his plans to replace democracy with a dictatorship. Among the “Small Doses” podcast host’s issues with Biden’s surrogate are Harris’ 2021 remarks about racism.

“I don’t believe America is a racist country, but we’re also going to have to tell the truth about the history of racism in our country and where it exists today,” Harris told “Good Morning America” three years ago. Seales was candid then, calling the remarks embarrassing to Harris’ supporters. Her sentiment is as raw now because it was when she recalled being “summoned” to meet with Harris.

“I told her point blank, you’re talking about two sides of your neck and we don’t know what you’re talking about,” she claimed, repeating an alleged meeting she had with the vice chairman. It’s unclear when or where they met face to face. Still, Seales says, “I don’t need politicians to say things. I need politicians to do things.”

After one of her comedy shows was canceled and she or he felt Zionists were trying to silence her, she says it wouldn’t be a shock to learn whether Team Harris was behind the hassle. “I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Kamala Harris trying to silence me, because I told her directly that I thought she was being disingenuous in her messages. And she said, ‘Well, you’re being too critical.’ And I said, ‘I’m a voter. I have to be critical. That’s my job. And I want to see action,’” Seales says.

Her message was disturbing to many individuals who disagree with Seales’ current stance. One person decided“Girl, we don’t care at this point. We’re trying to stop Trump and that’s it!”

A second comment read partly: “The Vice President of the United States was willing to talk to someone who was criticizing way above her weight class (not even being her equal) and that’s how it’s characterized. SMH.” A 3rd commenter said: “Can we cancel her already because there’s not enough smoke for Trump every day, she’s going on a tirade about Kamala, she gives me goosebumps.”

Seales believes that “when Kamala said this is not a racist country, she lost me and she hasn’t gotten me back yet… In my opinion, especially not just as vice president, but as the first black woman vice president to get there and get this man elected, in large part because black women like me said, let’s do what we always do, let’s show up. You can’t go in there in that position and then make such a blatantly false statement.”

The outspoken celebrity has taken flak online for years, and now greater than ever, for sharing her political beliefs. She wants voters to at all times query their sources of information because the country faces a critical turning point.

On her July 28 Instagram Story, she shared a repost from a fan who supported her political beliefs. The post read, “Many of us see you, hear you, and agree with you. Blackface without politics is pointless. Vote! Local politics are key.” Other supporters say her words have been internalized as her statement on behalf of the betterment of African Americans.
