Christina Aguilera’s surprising transformation has fans accusing the pop star of plastic surgery and Photoshop

Christina Aguilera sent a wave of nostalgia through her tens of millions of social media fans with one of her recent posts, reminiscent of the early 2000s TRL days.

The pop star, known for her powerful vocals and iconic style, was a defining figure for millennials in the same way Ariana Grande is for Gen Z. Over the years, Aguilera has stepped back from the highlight to concentrate on her family, welcoming her 40s with confidence and a couple of extra kilos.

Now, a long time after her debut, the “Loving Me” singer is gearing up for a comeback, showing off not only her vocal skills and recent endeavors, but in addition her noticeably slimmer figure.

Aguilera recently took to Instagram to advertise her recent brand of sexual health products, Playgroundwhich offers body care products, lubricants and intimacy oils.

Most fans zoomed in on the second image. In easy jeans and a pink lace tank top, Aguilera’s slim figure left fans stunned, prompting speculation about her transformation.

Whether it was as a consequence of weight reduction or a bit of Photoshop, many of her 9.6 million fans were stunned by her petite appearance.

“Is it the year 2000 again???” one person asked.

Another fan joked: “The curious case of Xtina Button.”

Some people continued: “Oh my God, how did she lose so much weight???”

Over 60 people responded to this one query, providing lots of suggestions.

Several people suggested she could have taken drugs to get that look, after rumours emerged in 2023 that celebrities were using weight reduction aids to drop a few pounds.

“Hahah of course! It starts with O and ends with zempic!” wrote one troll, referring to a drug created for people battling diabetes.

Someone else said Aguilera could have lost the weight because of her use of Adderall, a drug commonly prescribed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy.

There is not any evidence she used any of them.

Others cited interviews during which the mother of two explained that she owed her weight reduction to exertions and good health.

“Diet and exercise,” said one person. Another said, “She does a little yoga, but has always hated exercise.”

One fan, the creative direction, said it was all smoke and mirrors, “a lot of Photoshopping.”

This isn’t the first time in the past few weeks that individuals have wondered about her drastic weight reduction, with some even accusing her of plastic surgery. Earlier this month, she posted a video of herself in a nude latex bodysuit with thigh-high white boots, leaving fans delighted that she looked almost exactly the same as she did almost 25 years ago.

Some fans weren’t concerned about the lube or her size, and were simply asking about the recent music she promised her fans.

The multiple Grammy Award-winning artist and songwriter has sold over 75 million records and was named one of the 100 best singers of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.

Although Aguilera is a longtime pop star, she also has He exceeded into the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop world with several hit singles: “Genie in a Bottle” (No. 5), “What a Girl Wants” (No. 19), “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)” (No. 15) and “Ain’t No Other Man” (No. 40), which all charted on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Despite her success as a singer in the genre, Forbes didn’t include her on their latest list of the 25 best R&B singers of all time.
