Ice Cube’s Cube Vision Expands Partnership with Paramount
NWA founding member Ice Cube expands his entertainment business, Cube Vision, by expanding his partnership with Paramount Global.
According to Ice Cube, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson, and his partner, Jeff Kwatinetz, COO of Cube Vision, blocked inked a television deal that can allow the duo to develop and executive produce projects for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms on the Paramount Network.
“We are thrilled to expand our successful partnership with Paramount through this unique television agreement,” Cube and Kwatinetz said in a joint written statement. “This agreement gives us everything we need to create incredible and authentic stories on television while working with the best writers, showrunners and television innovators in the industry. We are thrilled to work with Nina, Chris and the rest of the All-Star Paramount Global team to build on the great work we have done together.”
The first project is already in development at Showtime Studios. It’s an unscripted project that can explore the ruthless world of Hollywood through the eyes and experiences of black creators.

This comes on the heels of Cube telling Flavor Flav that a fourth film is inching closer to being made. There have been barriers to a different Friday over the past 20 years, however it looks like with latest blood at Warner Bros., the world could also be closer to seeing what Craig Jones (the character Cube played in the unique film and sequels) and crew have been as much as through the years.
The original hit theaters in 1995. A sequel, , appeared in 2000, and two years later, in 2002, the ultimate film within the series, , hit theaters.
