Coco Gauff joins Naked as cocktail director

Tennis star Coco Gauff has been officially named Naked Brand’s cocktail director, a first-of-its-kind multi-year partnership.

As Naked’s Chief Smoothie Officer, Gauff is ready to encourage fans to eat nutritious fruit-based beverages. The 20-year-old athlete, who is understood for her love of fruit-based snacks, expressed her enthusiasm for the unique role. “Being named the first Chief Smoothie Officer of Naked is an incredible honor and a natural fit for my love of both,” said the longtime smoothie lover said in a press release from Naked Brand“I’m excited to have the opportunity to co-create real fruit juice cocktails with the innovation team.”

Her homemade fruit salad, which She gained attention from fans after winning the US Open in 2023.shows her true love of fresh produce. “People would ask me all the time what I was eating, and I’d be like, ‘It’s just fruit,’” the young champ said on the “Today” show. “My mom makes it before matches, and sometimes my dad makes it too … and I was like, ‘Just good old fruit.’” Guaff’s fruit preferences were further revealed on the 2023 French Open. “My dad makes a little fruit salad. There’s cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon,” she said. “It’s usually grapes,” her favorite, together with pineapple. She emphasized the importance of snacking during shifts to maintain her energy up during matches.
