Toni Braxton Returns to Reality TV in New Trailer for ‘The Braxtons’

The Braxton family returns to our TV screens.

Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Ms. Evelyn Braxton star in a brand new trailer for their upcoming We TV reality show, “The Braxtons.” The series, which can premiere on We TV and stream on ALLBLK on Friday, August 9, follows the Hollywood family on an “emotional rollercoaster of love, loss, triumph, heartbreak and healing,” according to a press release.

“The Braxtons” comes three years after the family last appeared on the truth series “Braxton Family Values,” which aired for seven seasons. To have fun the Braxtons’ return, We TV will debut the premiere special with a commercial-free event.

The latest eight-episode series marks the primary time Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Evelyn Braxton will reunite following the lack of their sister and daughter Traci Braxton, who died in 2022 on the age of fifty after battling esophageal cancer. “The Braxtons” offers viewers “a raw and unfiltered look at the ups and downs of a family,” including “careers, health challenges and busy personal lives while growing as a family,” according to the official synopsis.

“Toni faces a major health challenge as she prepares to return to Vegas. Trina begins therapy for PTSD,” the synopsis reads. “Towanda struggles with alopecia areata. Tamar focuses on her path to wellness. And Mrs. E.’s dream of a cooking show becomes a reality. But the family’s reunion still raises questions and unresolved issues. Will Traci’s final wish be enough to bring the family back together like it once was?”

Fans of the unique series are in luck. The TV station will air special episodes of “Braxton Family Values” on Friday, July 26 and Friday, August 2 at 9:30 p.m. to await the brand new series.
